Chapter 14

Andreah's POV

I never asked him how things went with him and Gloria. I hope she doesn't think that I'm the reason why he wanted to break up with her. She'll definitely kill me.

As we entered English, I saw Gloria sitting at the back, when she saw us she glared at me. If looks could kill I would be dead right now. I guess things didn't go well when he spoke to her.

"Look everyone little miss loser here couldn't wait till Reece broke up with me now she has him carrying her books, I bet she's paid you right Reece?" She asked looking pleased with what she just said.

Again I felt like someone just punched me in the gut expect her words always hurt me more.

I looked around at the students in the class as they began laughing and pointing at me.

"I mean when are you gonna stop? He'll never want you! He just feels sorry for you cos your a geeky ugly bitch, oh and ladies hold onto your boyfriends tightly cos we got a man stealer right there" she pointed at me like I'm a disgusting animal.

"That enough!" Reece shouted at the top of his lungs causing everyone to stop laughing. "Gloria your such a bitch because if you actually think for one second that your better than Andreah then you need to go see a shrink cos your crazy! And to anyone else who thinks Andreah is a loser or a geek or whatever you wanna call her, go fuck yourselves you'd be lucky if she were to be your friend. She's awesome, she's kind and caring, and most importantly she's real" he finishes off staring straight into my eyes. For a minute I forgot about the 22 students in this class staring at us, I forgot about Gloria's hurtful words, hell I even forgot how to breath, because at that very moment when he said those words I felt complete. He defended me against his ex, he defended me against the whole classroom, he's my hero and I'm very grateful that he sees me in that way he described.

I felt the tears were fighting to emerge from my eyes but somehow I managed to refrain that from happening. I took a deep breath and continue staring into his insanely gorgeous eyes.

"Let's get out of here" he whispered holding my hand. I've never cut school before but I just needed to get out of here so I didn't care. I wanted to go far away with Reece just me and him.

As soon as we got to the carpark Reece took out his phone and held it to his ears.

"Craig, me and Andy are skipping, tell Roxy too and come meet us cos we need your car...ok bye"

"I feel bad everyone's skipping because of me" I frown feeling selfish.

"Don't be Craig would do anything to get out of school and Roxy is your best friend I'm sure she'll understand and want to be here for you"

I smiled and I don't know what got into me but I wrapped my arms around him hugging him because I owed it to him. He stood up for me in front of the whole class.

A few minutes later Craig and Roxy showed up hand in hand walking towards us. They look so cute together and I'm very happy for them.

"Did someone upset our baby Andy?" Craig mimicked a babies voice.

"Stop teasing me" I pout folding my arms.

"Aw I'm just playing" he says giving me a hug.

"What happened?" Roxy asked as we got inside Craig's car.

I mouthed 'I'll tell you later'.

"So where to?" Craig asked looking at me through the rearview.

"Why you asking me?"

"Let's go back to mine, my parents are on their business trip so we'll have the house to ourselves" Reece suggested.

"Alright" we all agreed and Craig drove in the direction of Reece's house.
