Incident before the Final Round

I woke up early and headed to the training grounds, where Minori Sensei was waiting. He smiled and waved to me, "Good morning, Kimoria." He said and I yawned, "Morning, Sensei." He chuckled, "Okay, let's get you ready for the finals." He said and I grinned, "Alright, Sensei." I said excitedly, and he began to train me. We fought for a good few hours, then I pulled out my sword, and he smiled, before he formed his Rasenblade. We battled with our swords, for a while, and I was blocking and landing blows. As I went in for the 'kill' he blocked and my sword snapped. We stopped and I held my broken sword. Sensei patted my back, "I can teach you my Rasenblade, Kimoria." He said and I grinned, "Really, Sensei? Please do!" I said excitedly and he chuckled, "Alright, but first, I need to teach you the Rasengan." He said and I nodded.
I spent all day training to learn the Rasengan. As I was working, i was suddenly attacked, by a sound ninja. He hit me, sending my flying into a tree. I groaned and tried to sit up as he landed another attack. He was so fast that I couldn't land a hit. He threw me into a boulder and I coughed up blood. My vision blurred and I could barely make out his form, making it's way to me. I tried to call out for help, but, he stopped me with a kick. I groaned as more blood poured from my mouth and everything went black.

I didn't know how long it had been, before I started hearing the voices of all of my friends, the Rookie 12, "How is she?" Asked Kiba
"She hasn't woken up since he brought her in." Naruto said.
I heard the door open, "Hey guys, I just got done talking to the doctor." Ino said.
"What did he say?" That was Choji
"He doesn't think she will wake up in time for the finals." Ino answered.
"Have they found the one that did this?" Shino asked.
"No. It's like he vanished." Sakura answered.
"How's Kakashi Sensei handling it?" Shikamaru asked.
"We haven't seen him." Sera answered.
"What about Minori Sensei?" Neji asked.
"He blames himself, because he was training her."Shinsuke said. All of their voices began blurring together and suddenly, it was quiet again.

Time passed, and I began hearing voices again, "Any changes?" Dad asked.
"No, I'm sorry. I have no idea when she will wake up." An unfamiliar voice said.
"Don't worry, Kakashi. I'm sure she will wake up soon." Minori Sensei said, then silence consumed me.

I slowly opened my eyes and groaned, and looked around. The room was dark, it must've been around midnight. I tried to sit up and suddenly soft sand gently pushed me back. My eyes widened as my heart picked up, "G-Gaara?" I croaked and he appeared by me, "You're finally awake, Kimoria." He said as he offered me water. I took a small sip, "What are you doing here? Isn't visiting hours over?" I asked. He sat back in his chair, "I always come to visit after hours." He answered as my eyes began to droop. "How did i get here?" I asked and he looked at me, "I saw you getting attacked and saved you, then I brought you here. You've been out for a long time." He said and I slowly nodded. He stood up, "Get some rest, Kimoria." He said. I watched as he headed to my window, "Gaara," I said and he looked at me, as I smiled, "Thank you, Gaara. You saved my life twice now." I said and he gently smiled, "You're welcome, Kimoria." He said and I drifted off again.

I slowly woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I groaned and Naruto's face appeared above me, "Kimoria! You're awake!" He shouted happily and hugged me. I laughed, "I can't breathe, Naruto." I said and he pulled away, still sitting on me, "Sorry, Kimoria. We've just been so worried." He said and the door opened. I looked over and saw the Rookie 12, minus Sasuke, standing there with Lee's team. They all came in and to my side, "We are so happy to see you awake, Kimoria." Sakura said and I smiled at them, "I'm sorry to worry you guys." I said and Kiba grabbed Naruto, "Get off of her, Naruto, you idiot." He said and pulled Naruto off. I giggled as they all began talking and bickering, making me smile bigger. Shinsuke and Sera hugged me, "We are so glad you are awake." Shinsuke said. I hugged them back, "Me too, Shinsuke." I said. My friends stayed for awhile, before Shikamaru stood up, "As much as we would love to stay, Kimoria, we all must go." He said and I looked up, "Why?" I asked and he stood up, "The finals are in one week, so we have to train." He said and I frowned, "I was removed from the finals, wasn't I?" I asked and Shikamaru share a look with Shinsuke. He opened his mouth to talk, and the door opened, revealing Minori Sensei, "Alright kiddos, you all should go, I need to speak with team 1." He said and they all said their goodbyes and left, leaving my team alone. I looked at Sensei, "Sensei, was I removed from the finals?" I asked and he nodded, "You might be released in time, but you took a lot of damage. It's safer if you don't, besides, the ninja that attacked you was your finals opponent, and he disappeared after you were saved. So even if you could, there's no one for you to face so you still wouldn't be able to." He said and I nodded. He smiled at me and turned to my team, "We need to go train. We will come see you later." He said and I nodded again.
