Saving Him From Loneliness (Gaara Love Story)

Sasuke Rescue Mission

"How are things back there, Kimoria?" Shikamaru asked. I smiled, "It's all good here." I answered as we raced through the trees to find Sasuke. Akamaru whimpered and Kiba looked down at him, "Akamaru?" he asked. Shikamaru looked at Kiba, "whats wrong with him?" he asked and Kiba sniffed the air, "He smells blood nearby." Kiba answered and went into a description of what happened to cause the scent of blood. "So there are others with him," he said and Naruto began griping about going after Sasuke, causing him and Kiba to bicker. I rolled my eyes and looked at Neji, "Do they really have to argue?" I asked and he looked at me, "Kiba is right, though." he said and I looked at the guys again as Shikamaru talked. Suddenly Kiba spoke up again, "We're surrounded." he said, "Everyone, stop!" Shikamaru commanded and we all froze on a branch. I looked up, "Shikamaru, there's a paper on that tree." I said and Neji nodded, "And probably five more around here. Wait, that's a perimeter barrier." he said and I looked at him "Whats that?" I asked. He looked at me, "its a type of trap ninjutsu." he said and Shikamaru spoke, "There's a delay after the perimeter is breached, giving the victim just enough time to get to the center for the full effect." he explained. "Let's go around it. I know this area and I can find the fastest route around it so we don't waste too much time." I said and Kiba grinned, "Glad we have you along, Kimi." he said, and we took off around the perimeter. We avoided all kinds of traps as we slowly made our way through the forest. At one point, Naruto almost tripped a wire, but Shikamaru stopped him, "A trap within a trap. Clever." Neji said and activated his Byakugan. I activated my Sharingan and kept a lookout until Neji spoke, "Found them." he said and Naruto grinned, "Let's go!" he exclaimed. I smacked him on the head, "Hang on, Naruto. Remember, Shikamaru is in charge." I said and he grumbled. I looked at Shikamaru, "Well, Shikamaru?" I asked and he nodded, "First, we make a plan, then we take out these bastards." he said and I grinned.
"Okay. Kiba make sure you set the smoke bombs off at the exact moment." he said and Kiba nodded, then we scattered. Without realizing it, we began triggering traps left and right and soon, we reached them. After discovering us, we were trapped in an earth dome and he sapped away our chakra. After a long time, Shikamaru came up with a plan, "Human Boulder!" Choji shouted at the same time I did, "Water Style, Twin Water Dragons!" and together we busted a hole in the dome and stood together grinning. Choji and I hi-fived chuckling, "We are awesome together." I said and he nodded his agreement. After some discussion, Shikamaru agreed to leave Choji and we all five took off ahead. Slowly, one by one, we left a comrade behind until it was just me and Naruto together.
We were stopped by a man with white hair and two red dots on his head. We looked at each other, "Let's do this, Naruto." I said and he nodded. The man was strong. He used his bones and kept taking us out, even escaped my Kekkei Genkai. Things were looking bad for us, and suddenly, the coffin began smoking. The lid busted off and out came...Sasuke. I could tell he was different. He had a stronger aura coming off of him and he quickly took off into the trees. The guy took advantage and got behind Naruto, "Die!" he snapped and suddenly, Lee appeared, saving Naruto's life. "Lee!" I exclaimed with a grin, "I'm glad to see you on your own two feet again." I said. "Naruto, go get Sasuke. Lee and I will handle things here." I said and Naruto looked at me, "Are you sure?" he asked and I nodded, "Go ahead." I said and he nodded, "well alright. Just be careful, you two. And watch yourself, Lee, his strength is beyond belief." he said and I looked at him, "Well what are you waiting for, Naruto? You made a promise, so keep it. We got this." I said and Lee nodded, "well said, Kimoria." he said and Naruto took off. Lee and I began our attack on the guy, fighting with all our strength until Lee took some of his medicine. When he dropped the bottle, I read it and sighed, "Lee, that wasn't medicine." I said in annoyance as he became intoxicated. I had never seen a drunk fight do well. He was fast and strong, and I was quite impressed, aside from his drunken gibberish. I kept using my Kekkei Genkai and my Sharingan, which was tiring me out pretty quickly. Slowly, Lee began sobering up, which was good and bad. Finally, I was too weak to move and Lee was reaching his limit. I looked at Lee, "Lee, I'm at my limit." I said and he nodded, "I am as well." he said and I groaned at the pain in my body. He came at us, then suddenly, sand appeared and knocked us away from the guy then gently lowered us to the ground. My heart pounded out of my chest as I looked up and met beautiful teal eyes, "Gaara!" I exclaimed happily. He shot me a small smile, "I got here just in time, Kimoria." he said as he stepped in front of us. The guy sent small bones at Gaara, but Gaara's sand shot up to protect him and I smiled in relief, "Impulsive, aren't you?" Gaara asked the guy. He spoke with Lee for a moment then Lee asked him a question, "Anyways, why have you come here?"
"I owe the Leaf." he answered easily and I smiled. Lee and I hung back as Gaara fought our opponent. My heart pounded as I watched in amazement at Gaara. The guy reached a stage of pure power and landed a shoulder tackle, sending Gaara flying, "Gaara!" I cried and went after the sound ninja, "It's time to show just how strong I got since last time, Gaara! Wind Style: Rasenblade!" I shouted as I formed Rasenblade. We battled, and I slowly began losing power, "Damn! I haven't mastered it yet!" I growled and he went to hit me, but Gaara sent sand in between us, "Kimoria!" he shouted, as he saved my life, yet again. I groaned in pain. I looked over and saw him going after Gaara again, "Gaara!" I shouted and sand formed in front of him, "Ultimate Defense: Shakaku's shield!" Gaara shouted and I gasped, "Ultimate defense." I whispered in shock. Gaara began burying him under the surface, and a few moments after he went under, bones shot out and I gasped, "How is he still moving?" I demanded in shock. At the last minute, Gaara lifted the three of us in the air, "Thank you, Gaara." I said and his eyes ran over my body, "You aren't hurt, are you Kimoria?" he asked and I shook my head, "Don't worry Gaara, I'm okay." I assured him and he nodded.
"He's strong. It should be over now." he said and I nodded, then Gaara grunted painfully, "Gaara, are you okay?" I asked worriedly. He looked at me, "My strength is gone. We must defend." he said. Suddenly, the guy was back. He shouted about meaning something to Orochimaru then went in to kill Gaara, "Gaara, no!" I shouted as tears filled my eyes, then he suddenly stopped and died. With Gaara safe, I finally lost consciousness.

Gaara's POV
"Kimoria?" I asked as she collapsed in my lap. After feeling her heartbeat, I sighed, "That was luck, I should've died." I said and Lee spoke, "Not true. Sensei often says a ninja makes his own luck." he said and I looked at him, "That mettle some mother hen." I said and lee looked at me, "I'm grateful you saved me, but talk about my sensei." he said and I spoke again, "You also have someone you care for? Someone whose pain you also feel? Someone you feel so strongly for you would fight for them, and die for them." I broke off and looked down at the girl in my lap and felt the pain in heart I always felt, go away, "I'm beginning to understand now, with Kimoria." I admitted, then looked to the sky, "Even having someone evil is preferable to loneliness." I added and stood up, with Kimoria in my arms, "We should get back to the leaf village." I said and we headed back, all the while I was looking at Kimoria's beautiful face.
