While waiting for the two to get ready, I decided to try to take a nap. I woke up around 3 AM and dozed off to Pat's house only to find out that Jeric arrived 10 minutes earlier, darn. Naunahan na naman ako ng intsik. Parang kagabi lang I was excited for my surprise for her birthday, a simple breakfast date sa overlooking view in Rizal, pero tingnan mo nga naman, naunahan na nga ako, parehas pa kami ni Jeric ng idea as a birthday gift. Kaya ngayon, eto ako nganga. Hangang ngayon, feeling ko nakikipag- compete parin ako kay Jeric for Pat's attention and love. My mind stopped hoping for her, but my heart didn't. There's no way my heart could ever stop wanting her.
Luigi: Sabi ni Ate May umalis ka daw ng 3 AM ha? 7 am palang ha? Ang bilis naman ng date mo! Quickie lang? *laughs* so what happened? Did she like it? Kamusta yung lasa ng imbento mong omelette?
LA: Nako lang! Napurnada nga yung date ko eh. *smirks* Paano, naunahan na naman ako. Yung omellete, ayun itlog padin na nasa ref.
Anton: Tsk. *smiles* Sabi ko naman kasi sayo madaling araw ka nalang pumunta, as in saktong 12! Parang hindi mo naman kilala yung mga intsik eh. Umaga yan nanliligaw! *laughs* In Teng's case, madaling araw! Hindi mo nalang binigay yung gift mo?
LA: Sorry na, okay? Mali na ako. *laughs* Wag mo na nga lang ipamukha. Nasayang na nga yung maaga kong gising eh. Sayang din yung plan ko, parehas pa pala kami ni Teng. *shakes head* Nahiya na rin ako pumasok, baka ano isipin ni Teng na masyado naman ako nag- effort. Hay, bakit kasi bestfriend ako?
Luigi: You've been bestfriends since bata, kaya there is nothing wrong with you surprising her early in the morning... KUNG wala siyang boyfriend! *laughs* Bestfriend pala. Childhood bestfriends.
That was Pat and I's label since God knows when. We were inseperable, walang Luis kung walang Pat. Parang Batman and Robin, B1 and B2, Spongebob and Patrick. Whenener somebody pairs us up, we could only shake our head and laught about it. Baliw ba sila? How can you see the girl you grew up with, the girl whom you consider as your own sister be your girlfriend? Mali. And today, we found ourselves again in the same situation, another set of people believing and pushing our crazy, non- existent loveteam.
