Last year's championship competitors, now competing for the final slot in the Final Four S76! I was so torn between the two schools just because I wanted them both to be part of the semis. I am an Atenean by blood and by mind( because Mom, Dad and Kuya graduated there) but my heart keeps on shouting for the yellow team especially their King Tiger. I was excited to go to ADMU's bonfire for potentially a 6- peat but my heart couldn't take if Jeric would lose this game. Kaya eto ako, full cheerleader outfit para sa King Tiger ko. At dahil late na kami nakatulog ni Jeric talking over the phone last night, here I am almost running late for his game. But instead of contemplating on my tardiness and how damn the traffic in Manila is, I tried to calm my nerves by praying. Pray that this would not be Jeric's last game for his collegiate career. Na sana not this way his career in UAAP would end, na sana umabot sila sa Finals. I know my tiger wouldn't fail his fans.
Jeric: Akala ko late ka na naman. Mapagdadamutan na naman ako ng goodluck kiss sa lucky charm ko eh. *smirks*
Sab: Eh kung bago ka lumandi eh siguraduhin mong mananalo kayo? *smiles* Goodluck babe. *hugs*
Jeric: We'll win. *smiles* This would not be the last UAAP game you'll cheer for me, babe. Sorry pero lalampasuhin ko muna yung school mo ha? *laughs*
Sab: Go USTe muna ako kahit itakwil pa ako ng Ateneo! *laughs* Get that final slot, okay? And be safe. No more injuries.
Jeric: I'll get that final slot for you. *smiles* O sige na, bigay mo na..
Sab: Huh? *confused*
Jeric: *pokes cheeks* Ang goodluck kiss ko. Sympre! Lahat sila meron na bakit magpapahuli yung King Tiger? *smiles*
Sab: *kurot ilong* Husay mo din eh no! *laughs*
Tigers: Energized na energized! Ayoooooos! *laughs*
And as usual, the Tigers caught us off guard. They witnessed yet again Jeric and I's clingyness before a game, lambingan bago mag- start yung bugbugan sa court. It earned another round of laughters and asaran with Kevin as the leader of the pack, and this time even the coaching staff and Coach Pido joined them! Ano ba naman, Coach. The aura in the Tiger's bench was light and positive. Everyone was smiling and some laughing their hearts off, getting giddy and excited for the game. They really trained hard for this, lalo na si Jeric and Tata. They don't want this to be their last game.
Mikko: They'll win. *smiles* I just know it. Kaya ikaw, you better relax there. Just let Tita Susan staredown the Refs! *laughs*
Sab: Mikko talaga oh! *laughs* Sana, sana they'll win. Jeric's so anxious about today's game. Parang lahat ng pressure niya biglang lumabas and he was so scared na baka mangyari ulit yung nangyari sa kanila during last year's championship game.
