june

hi! so june is a month of a whole lot of things, so i just wanna share some with you guys !

pride month. this is the most well-known one i think. as a boy who identifies with two different letters in LGBTQIAP (queer and intersex, even tho intersex awareness day is oct. 26), i really love june and hearing everyone's stories and such!

african-american music appreciation month. i didn't even know this was a thing, but apparently it's officially recognized by the u.s. aka the country in which i reside !! also did you know i'm partially african ??? because puerto rican people are taíno/spanish/african and all my pr grandparents are supposedly really african? so yeah #funarifactoftheday

caribbean-american heritage month. i actually just met a caribbean (i can't remember from which country ajdjejej whoops) family brand new to the united states! but the son who's in my grade came up to my friend group so he could introduce himself was like "hi my name is gabriel" and we were all like #SHOOKT bc gabe my bf is also caribbean (dominican) like !! omg wth!!

great outdoors month. get off ur electronics and go outside !!

national smile month. ok this is just a UK thing apparently but i love it ! smile at everyone u see this whole month ok.

ptsd awareness month. i don't suffer from ptsd but my queen katniss does and if course if i meet anyone who suffers from ptsd i will show them love and kindness bc they deserve it.

anyway i'm upset bc gen is studying abroad so like ))): but all my other friends are forcing me to go out with them so i'm not too down aha bless
