How Clintasha came to be

chatting with the dragon part 1

Chapter 7 part 1:

 Clint:

I was really nervous about talking to Fury about asking Natasha to marry me. It may sound too soon, but I’ve known her for years and we’re in love and I think it’s about doggone time. So I contact him in secret the way spies do and get a call from him pretty soon after. “What is it?” he asks bluntly (good old Fury style). “I have a question. A really, really important question…”. “Go on,” he says impatiently. “I want to ask Natasha to marry me, but I thought I should ask you first.” *insert awkward silence here*

Natasha:

I feel so much better now that Clint and I know about each other's feelings. I've been daydeaming about weddings and how our kids would look like and it's just- I'm just starstruck. I love him. I really do. And we've known each other so long, we could be married tomorrow for all I care. I know we probably won't be able to, because we still work for Fury, and he's kinda like a dad to me, and getting his blessing will be nearly impossible, even for Clint. So anyway, right now I'm thinking of a way to ask Fury and sell him on letting s get married.
