CHAPTER TWO

"Where was I, when the rockets came to life. And carried you away!"

"Into the alligator sky!" Charlie and I grabbed our hairbrushes and started to sing our hearts out. I wadsn't very good but i didn't care.

"Even though i'll never know what's up ahead."

"I'm never letting go. I'm never letting go!"

When it came to the rap bit of the song, we couldn't be bothered singing and plopped down on the couch. Charlie let out a deep sigh and grabbed the remote. "What do you want to watch?"

"Is there any good movies?" For some reason I was in the mood for an action movie.

"We can watch scary movie 2? I love that movie."

"Meh okay. I dont really care what we watch." I stood up and walked over to the fridge to get some drinks.

"Get me a coke Blue." Charlie streched lazily taking up the whole couch.

"Yeah, yeah I am." I walked over to a cupboard and took out two packs of chips. Juggling all our snacks I walked over to the couch and sat down. When the movie started Charlie immediately stopped talking and stared at the screen. She was a movie freak and she's probably seen every movie ever made. I tried to concentrate on the movie but... my mind was focused on other things. Why did Audrey ask Charlie out? She wasn't ugly or anything but Audrey usually only went for popular girls. He probably was only going to humiliate her or use her for... sex. The very word made me shudder. No. I wouldn't let that happen. If Audrey tried anything I would kick him up the ass and poke his eyes out. A bit harsh, but he would deserve it. If Audrey asked Charlie for sex, she would probably say yes because, lets face it, Audrey was good looking. Very good looking. He was tall and slender. He had curly brown hair and light green eyes just like...

That guy I met today. When I first saw him, i didn't think much of him but thinking of him now... he was beautiful. He had perfect black hair, perfect green eyes, a perfect nose and an oh so perfect mouth I could kis for days and...

Wait. Was i just fantasizing about a guy I only met once and seen for twenty seconds? Ew. And plus, he had been so mean to me. All I did was ask his little brother his name and he went all crazy on me. Well, he didn't exactly go crazy on me, but he was very rude.

"Blue. Blue? ... BLUE!"

"Huh." My head spun around to look at Charlie.

Charlie narrowed her eyes. "Are you even watching the movie?"

"Um, yeah." I said nervously.

Charlie looked at me with an 'are you kidding me' face. "You're not even facing the screen."

Whoops. She was right. I was staring the opposite direction of the screen. Straight out the kitchen window.

For some weird reason those words kept repeating in my head. I shook them away and looked back at Charlie.

"If you don't want to watch the movie we can do something else Blue."

"No it's fine." I gave Charlie a thumbs up and she gave me an eye roll back. I looked up at the television ans started to watch the movie. It was actually pretty funny. It was based on another series of scary movies that i forgot the name of.
