The week of the fight came quickly. I felt every ones fear radiating off of them. We waited outside at dusk and stood in a line. There was about three hundred werewolf's here. I was hidden behind Chris Adam and there betas. But I still felt to exposed. We heard the branches break and then the men in suits came out with bows and arrows knifes and guns. People behind me shifted out of instinct to protect there territory and there alpha.

There was about a hundred men in brown and black leather suits. One stepped forward and smirked at us.

"STAND DOWN YOUR TROOPS AND HAND OVER THE GIRL AND YOU SHALL LIVE!" He shouted.

"Your lying!" Chris yelled back grabbing me and pushing me directly behind him. Like I wasn't already there.

"Fine. HAVE IT YOUR WAY! MEN NOT ONE LIFE WILL BE SPARED! BRING UP THE DEMONS!" He shouted. The ground began to vibrate viciously then out the ground where the Hunters were came up black huge monsters with blood red eyes and smoke drifting around them. We wont win this fight. Everybody shifted but me. We weren't going to win. No,no,no,no. This cant happen. And I cant stand by and watch as the werewolf's get demolished by these monsters. I felt my stomach begin to burn.

"Stop!" I yelled. I stepped in front of Adam and held up my hands. "Stop you cant win this! Please don't do this!" Chris shifted.

"Then what are we suppose to do! They have threatened us. We need to fight! Its either you fight beside us or run!" I glared at him. I clenched my jaw and curled my fist into balls.

"Fine." I said and I turned and ran. To the Hunters. As I neared them I felt the burning in my stomach intensify. One of the monsters came at me. Its hand went up ready to swing and as it neared me it disappeared turning to ashes. I slowed and fell to my knees. "Here I am. Leave them alone. Please." I begged. He smirked then grabbed me by my hair. I held in my cry of pain.

"Your so pathetic. You actually thought we will let them win. We knew you will help them but know since your over here you can watch them die. One by one being destroyed and killed." Realization hit me hard. I started screaming and thrashing but he just yanked me up by my hair. I saw the monsters run at the werewolf's squishing them under there feet.

"Noooooo!" I screamed and I kicked him in the shin and as he fell to the ground I kicked him in the face. I ran towards them but was stopped by long talons wrapping around my shoulders and lifting me up.

I screamed as I was carried away. Hot tears streamed down my face as I watched them drop and die. I closed my eyes and looked away.

What could I have done to make this different?

I cried for hours on end and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't stop the tears from falling. It all just slipped through my fingers. Everything did.

I watched the sky as it changed color. Was everybody dead now?

I cried at the though of it. I had to get back to them. Wiping away my tears I realized I was giving up. There still may be a chance. A small light of hope sparked in my chest. Looking at the taloned claws holding me I bit down on one and heard the screech above. Biting the other one I was plummeting through the air towards the ground. The thing recovering it dived down to me. As it got closer I grabbed its neck and swung my body onto its back. Taking off a scarf that coincidently was around my neck, I tied it around the oversized eagles mouth then grabbed the ends so I had control over the eagle.

She began flying up and was ready to turn to continue the way she was going but I pulled on my scarf and turned her in the other direction back the way we came.

She listened to all my commands and hours later a strong scent of blood carried in the wind hit my nose. I looked down at the scene and saw dead bodies everywhere. Everything was quite and there was no sign of life. Then something flew up from the trees screeching and attacked us. Regaining her self she looked around. Her eyes settled on what mines were already locked on. It was one of the monsters but flying. It came attacking and I pulled the scarf then jumped off her back and onto the monsters. My hands went up and behind its ears pressing down. I don't know what I did but the thing soon changed color and was all brown like the other one. I stroked his feathers then whistled signaling mine to come back.

I talked to him asking him where were the Hunters. He told me to follow him in some language that I complete understand. Taking my mind off of that I set my mind on something else.

Revenge.
