Blue Moon

Chapter 5

Walking out of the school I saw Chris his arm draped around the cheerleader captain named Mia. She had dyed blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was smiling flirtatiously at Chris drawing circles on his chest. I knew it! Damn it felt good to be right. But then there was something else underneath. Jealousy.

Chris looked up at me and narrowed his eyes. Rolling my eyes I climbed onto my Black Baby and speed off home.

Finishing my homework I took a quick shower and played my PS4.

"Zoe! Time for dinner!" I got up from bed and slipped on my sandals but stopped when I saw the white wolf sitting by my door. She looked at me with blue eyes and then walked to the balcony doors jumping to the ground. Running over I looked down to see nothing. "Zoe,dinners gonna get cold!" My dad yelled from downstairs. Turning I closed the balcony door and ran downstairs.

"Sorry." I sat down across from Angela and next to my dad eating my food quickly. Angela and Dad had small talk will I ate. I didn't say a word just ate then got up walking in the kitchen and washing my plate.

Looking out the window I saw the white wolf. I just stared at her beautiful white fur which illuminated in the full moon.

Blinking I turned and Angela stood there making me jump. She laugh and I couldn't help but smile. Rolling my eyes playfully I walked around her and went upstairs going to bed.

DREAM

I was walking in the woods the white moonlight giving the leaves and grass a eerie glow. Continuing forward I saw a flowing river and the white wolf.

She turned to me and her tongue lolled out her mouth as she seemed to smile at me. Sitting next to her I stroked her silky white fur. I felt her purr loudly as I scratched behind her ear.

"Welcome." Said a female voice that echoed all around me. Jumping up I turned to see a beautiful women with long black hair and silver eyes. Her dress was flowing around her in white swirls. Her skin was flawless white.

"Who-who are you?" I asked taking a step backwards almost tripping over the white wolf. I slowly looked down at her when I felt her nudge me with her head and saw her looking at the women with love and respect in her beautiful blue eyes. She nodded her head in the women's direction indicating I should step forward.

"I, Silver,am the Mother of All Animals and half creatures. That wolf is one of my many children." I was confused now. Mother of All Animals? What the hell was this?

"Im sorry but Im confused on what you mean. Mother?" This girl must be crazy.

"Yes. You will understand just follow your other half." Then she was gone.

"Wait! What do you mean? Please come back!"

Then I felt like I was falling through a endless pit.

My eyes flew open and I sat up in bed. Looking to my balcony I saw the doors opened and the wolf sitting there staring at me. Getting up from my bed I grabbed my hoodie and slipped it over my head pulling on my shoes and walking to the balcony doors. Looking over I saw the wolf sitting on the floor looking up at me. Going to my ladder thingy I climbed down. Turning I looked for the white wolf and saw her by the trees to the forest.

Running I followed her through the woods dodging trees. Then the woods opened into a clearing and I saw a river. The same river in my dream. The wolf disappeared at some point. Walking up to the rivers edge I sat down and looked into the water. I stared at my reflection feeling lost.

Then my reflection twisted and turned into the white wolf. Jumping back I saw her come out of the water,stalking to me. She was on top of me pinning me to the ground. She licked my cheek,her tongue feeling freezing cold.

Then her teeth dug into my shoulder. The same shoulder the black wolf had bite into. Pain shot through my shoulder. The pain soon numbed and I felt cold. There was a bright light and I closed my eyes for a moment. Pain soon jabbed at my stomach. Then it was like a wild fire. All I felt was pain and my bones breaking. I started screaming and flailing on the forest ground. After a few moments of agonizing pain it was all gone.

I laid on the ground not trusting my body to move. I was on my side and I turned my head to look up at the sky. The moon was a light blue. Then my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I let my head fall back on the forest floor.
