Chapter 6

Light streamed into my eyes. Opening them I realized I was still on the forest floor. Trying to stand up was hard. Looking down I saw white paws. I started panicking.

>>Calm down.<< a voice rang in my head. >>Look its easy to shift back just think of your human form an bam your back on two legs.<<

Nodding to the unknown female voice in my head I thought of my legs and arms and heard my bones break and reform but it didn't hurt like the first time. When it all stopped I looked down at my naked body.

>>Good. Now you should get home so you could get dressed and ready for school.<<

>Who are you?< I thought beginning to run home.

>>Im your other half. The white wolf you saw. But know Im in you. Ill explain everything while you get ready for school now hurry up.<< Shifting back I ran home and climbed into my balcony doors going to the bathroom and taking a shower. She answered all my questions will I got dressed in my clothes which seemed to small.

>Why doesn't my clothes seem to fit?< I asked her trying to pull a shirt over my head.

>>Because your a size bigger now that your a werewolf.<< I nodded slipping a towel around me and walking to my dads room. I took a pair of Angela's jeans and a white flannel shirt and pulled them on. Running back to my room I grabbed my grey hoodie which was always big but now fit me perfectly.

Grabbing my book bag and keys I ran downstairs into the kitchen. My dad was in the shower and Angela was no where to be seen. Grabbing a apple and a bottle of orange juice and walked out the door to see Angela coming into the driveway.

"Hey Z. Have a good day at school." She gave me a light kiss on the cheek and walked into the house. I was shocked at the gesture but then shrugged it off climbing onto my motorcycle. Not bothering to put on my helmet I drove off down the street to the school pushing to 100 mph. Slowing down to 95 I drove into the school parking lot watching people jump out of the way. I burned rubber stopping my Black Baby and took out the keys from the ignition rushing into the school.

Everybody was staring at me opened mouthed. Smells hit me but one caught my attention it smelled like cinnamon and honey. It got strong as I neared my locker rounding the corner I saw Chris which was a few lockers away from leaning against it with a brunette all over him. His hand rested on her ass. A growl escaped my lips and all I could think about was biting off her head.

Why? I don't know.

Rushing to my locker I pulled it open and grabbed my books for AP chemistry. Hopefully he wasn't in my class.

"Hey there partner." She looked me up and down then sniffed,"You smell different." Then I saw shock spread across her eyes. Slamming my locker door shut she pulled me to the girls bathroom. She checked if anyone was in here then locked the door.

"Your a werewolf." She asked,well more of stated. I nodded and looked down at my hands.

"You are too."

"Yea. But you were human the first time I met you. What happened?" She asked circling me. I shrugged my shoulders and heard the bell ring.

"Look I have to go to class." I said unlocking the bathroom door and walking out. I ran to class and rushed in. There were only two empty seats at one table. Yes,Ill get to work alone. I took the seat and and the teacher started giving orders. A few minutes into class the door opened and in walked a security guard with a upset Chris.

Shit,jinxed it.

If you hadn't caught on,there is only one more available seat and thats right next to me. Aren't I just lucky! Putting my head on the table I heard Mrs. Garcia tell Chris to take a seat next to me. He came next to me and then he started to sniff the air. He looked at me confused and our eyes met.

"Alright. This is your seats for the rest of the year. Ya would be working together all through class and after school when there are assigned projects. Now,since ya would be working together and its the first day of school I want you and your partner to talk with each other. Get to know each other so it would be easier to work." She smiled,"As you know I am your AP chemistry teacher. I am happily married with two baby girls. They are twins and I love teaching. Thats how I want it to be."

She waved her hands as a way to say began and chatter filled the room. I could feel Chris's eyes on me and it was starting to make me uncomfortable.

"Would you stop staring at me?!" I said turning to him. His eyes stayed glued and his eyebrow raised.

"You smell different." He said looking me up and down. Then he leaned in and whispered into my ear. "Like rose and honey. But theres something else" I felt his hot breath hit my neck sending a shiver down my back. What the hell was this boy doing to me? I swallowed and continue to look forward.

"So tell me Zoe whats your favorite color?" I laughed harshly and turned back to him.

"What do you care?" I asked looking him up and down. And I cant help but think that he was sexy.

"I don't. But seeing as your having trouble talking to me I minus well start the conversation. I know I have an effect on every girl but damn you seem to have way more trouble." My mouth hanged open and I was not able to form words. Then that dumb coincided smile spreads across his lips. Oh how I wanted to smack that smile right off his face. So I did. The loud crack of my hand contacting his flawless face brought everyone to turn there heads. Even the teacher. His hand held his cheek his mouth opened. I couldn't help but smile at him. Then his jaw clenched and his hands balled into fist.

"Zoe and Chris. Lunch detention." Giving him one last glare I turning back to my work. I could still fell Chris's eyes burning into my skull. I didn't say anything just continued writing.

>>You shouldn't have done that.<< My wolf whimpered.

>And why not?< I asked rolling my eyes.

>>Because its obvious he is a soon to be Alpha. You could smell it. He has authority. And you have to respect him.<<

>Im not apart of his pack or any at that fact.< And I blocked her off finishing my work ignoring Chris's glares on me.
