Chapter 15

"Zoe! Zoe what are you doing here?!" He started crawling towards me but then stopped as if he just noticed the huge gap with the 50 foot or more drop. "Zoe what are you doing here?"

"Hey Sir Dumbass Im here to save you!" I looked around looking for a board something to stretch across the gap. There was two book shelfs a desk a long dining table. Thats it! I ran over and kicked off the legs leaving only the top. Dragging it over I started to stretch it across. Chris grabbed it in his hand holding it in place when a loud hiss came from outside the door. Turning I stared at the door the thing would just pass.

But they had other ideas. The door flew off its hinges coming straight at me. Moving to slow the door knocked into me pushing me onto the bridge I made. The things eyes were only on me.

This was how I was suppose to die. It all pieced together in my head as I realized they would survive it was just up to me if I ran or died. The thing bit down but I threw the chain up making it wrap around its mouth the rusty nails digging in. And I yanked. With as much force I yanked the thing and it went plummeting down and I followed along with it. Things wiped passed me screaming and screeching and as I looked up I saw them erupt from the top. They were full of color and life. And know they were free. Free from this monster thats controlled and possessed them. They went ever which way searching for there bodies to regain life.

We went down and the walls began widening. Then it started steaming and I was sweating. Turning my head I saw boiling lava a little way down. Looking away I looked up.

And I jumped back when I saw something blueish white running down the wall to me. It knocked head first into my stomach pushing me down further. My hand jerked up suddenly and I was brought with it. I realized that one of my chains were stuck in a crevice in the wall. Everything seemed to go in slow motion and my eyes widened as my head snapped back to the other chain wrapped around the things mouth. The thing continued plummeting and soon its body weight pulled me with it yanking my arm right out the chain. I screamed out in pain as I heard my wrist break and pull free of the chain. I cried as I continue to plummet down.

When will it all end?

Then my stomach burned spreading all throughout my body. Why does this keep happening? Then it was like everything was sucked out me. Slowly and painfully. I gasped as I found it hard to breath. The splash was loud and the screech that came along with it. Everything froze. I stopped plummeting and my body was shifted so I was upright. Looking around I saw the chain disappear slowly from my wrist showing a black swollen wrist. Looking down I saw the lava seem to crawl in and circle the monster then disappear suddenly. I slowly floated to the now exposed sone ground and gravity kicked in and I was on the ground my hair falling around me.

What the hell?

I began looking around feeling something began wrap around me.
