Chapter six
Ignore him.
That's all I needed to do today. Ignore him.
Whatever happens I have to ignore him.
It's simple. Just don't talk to him or look at him or give him any attention. It's easy.
"Hi Sash." His voice rung in my ear from behind.
Walk faster.
I quickened my steps, trying to run away from him.
"Sasha!" He called out again, his voice a bit more faint, as I was far ahead of him now.
Turn around the corner.
I did just that, only to collide with someone. The forces of our bodies against each other and the speed I was going at, caused me to be sent back, hitting the floor, hard.
"I'm so sorry, here let me help you." The voice was soft, almost afraid.
I took the hand- of a male, I'm supposing- and he pulled me up. I rubbed my butt. This was gonna leave a bruise. Ouch.
I looked up to see big black rimmed glasses, and a sheepish smile.
It was Daniel Edwards.
"It's ok-"
"What happened here? What did you do to her?" None other than Jason, appeared from behind the wall.
"I- um...euh" Daniel stammered.
"Nothing happened, I just bumped into him." I interjected confidently.
"Watch out, Edwards." Jason threatened.
I looked at Daniel apologetically, shaking my head.
"It's fine I'm used to guys blaming me for everything that happens to their girlfriends around me." He shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal.
My eyes widened in horror. "We're not dating." I shook my head quickly.
Then a hand yanked me away from the scene. I looked up to see an angry Jason literally dragging me across the hallway.
So much for ignoring him.
I was praying that we wouldn't run into Elena, or Melanie.
"What are you doing?!" I whisper-yelled at him.
He stopped in his tracks and placed me in front of him. "No Sasha, what are you doing?"
I looked confused, I was taken aback. I was definitely not expecting this kind of reaction.
"Why were you ignoring me? Did I do anything wrong?"
From the corner of my eye, I could see Elena and Melanie making there way through the crowd of students. They didn't notice us just yet.
I wriggled my way out of Jason's strong grip, surprising myself in the process. I was never that strong.
"I'm sorry." I said in a hurry, then rushed towards my best friends.
***
"So what do we need to do exactly Sierra?" He said in the most disinterested tone ever, getting my name wrong in the process, yet again.
"First of all, her name is Sasha, and for the love of god stop tapping that damn pen on the table!" Elena said angrily, her eyes shooting daggers in James' direction. She was not pleasant to be around while angry.
