STAND BY ME!!

Prologue

This is my first book so pleazzzzz.. have patience while reading.

I got up with the noise of someone sliding the glass door.
I sat on the bed against the head rest.
The only light in the room was that of the lamp at the sidetable.
Ryan entered the room with something which had a candle on it.
His face was not clear due to the lack of lights but his eyes shone in the candle light.
He slowly walked towards me and as he came closer his face could be seen perfectly, he had a cupcake with the candle on it.
He came and sat next to me on the bed holding the cupcake between us.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. He just raised an eyebrow.
It took me a second to realise, this was his room.
I felt my cheeks grow warm with embarrassment.
"I'm sorry. "
He didn't say anything and just showed me his phone,
which I didn't know he had for so long in his other hand.
"What?? "I couldn't understand, what he wanted me to see.
"It's 11:59 " he spoke for the first time since he entered.
I saw the phone again it was 11:59 pm , I kept staring at the phone knowing that his eyes were fully focused on me.
Now it was 12 ....midnight, suddenly the phone went off.
I could feel him shift his position. He came a little more closer , face inches away from mine.
"Happy Birthday! " he said in a whisper.
It's my birthday.... Ohh I really forgot. I had seen the date changing to 27 when I was staring at the phone.
Again I could feel my cheeks getting warmer... I know I was blushing when I heard him chuckle.
"Thank you!" he smiled , gesturing me to blow the candle.
I closed my eyes and blew the candle.
"What did you wish for?" he asked as soon as I opened my eyes.
Now the only light left was that of the lamp but still I could see his eyes clearly.
We stared into each other's eyes for a while before I replied
" YOU "
Now it was his turn to blush but I couldn't see his face clearly.
"You're making this more difficult for me. " I could hear him take a deep breath.
"I need you to close your eyes for a minute. " Before I could say something he took his phone and set the timer to one minute.
"Please.... " He pleaded and I nodded.
I closed my eyes and waited.... Second later I felt his lips on mine, butterflies were flying in my stomach. At that moment all I wanted was, for him to never stop.
I didn't move or do anything. I was afraid that if I moved all this would just.... disappear.
Everything around me just froze for a while before his lips left mine.
I didn't open my eyes, instead I shut them more tightly.
I waited for the timer to beep but it never did....moment later I opened my eyes ,I was shocked.... panic took over me when I saw.........
