Ambily's POV
"Wife?" I cross-examined again.
Why do I still think that I heard it wrong.
He gave me a cheeky smile and advanced closer to me.
What is he up to??
He approached closer, his lips almost touching my ear.
I couldn't even move an inch,
My mind was perplexed with his actions.
"Just play with me..." He murmured slowly in my ear.
I shook my head to agree with him.
He doesn't want his family to know my true identity.
"Yes wife....I'm his wife... " I clutched his arm tightly.
Not just to show them that we're married,
But also because my legs were shaking with anxiety.
All of them were completely silent.

For the last fifteen minutes we have sat in the living room.
I was staring at Mr. Intense and his mama, Heidi and Anna in turn staring daggers at me.
The silence was eating me up.
Finally Mr. Intense spoke.
"And.... for how long are we sitting like this?" He directed his question to them.
"Till you tell us a proper reason for her being in your room." His mother answered calmly.
"And why is she here??"
"Who is she??"
"When did you marry??" Heidi and Anna fired their questions back to back.
"Why not just tell them the truth?" I whispered to Mr. Intense.
"Shut up. I'll make up a story" he said slowly.
"Ehh... Anna you remember last year I went out for a business meeting? That's when I first met her."
They all started looking at me.
"Yeah... Yes.." I said
"Ehh...
I know.. I mean.....let me tell the rest.
The time when we first met, I was going through few issues in my life from which he helped me come up and in the course we happened to learn each other a lot to become good friends.
Like.....real...good friends...
And for past one year we have been in contact with each other.
Soon we realized that we love each other.
I told my dad about our relationship...
But he wouldn't accept.....
so.....so I fled from my house and came here and we got married!

I let out a long sigh after finishing the story.
"Nice try... But I don't find it true." Anna smirked.
