Miyuki's POV
"Ughhhh how much longer!"
Sawamura whining is possibly the best and worst part about this trip. On one hand, it's distracting and the other seven people on the bus have been screaming at him to stop the entire trip. But on the other hand, I find some sort of satisfaction from watching Sawamura get continuously agitated, that's probably a reason to why I'm always nagging him.
"We'll still have another two and a half-hour bus trip when we return, you should be grateful you're not on a bus with thirty people~!" I joyfully exclaim.
"That's not genuine at all! You big shit eater!" Sawamura cries, immediately snapping his neck his neck around to call me out.
I laugh again, enjoying the fantastic scenery taking place in front of me. Which is simply Eijun becoming enraged and attempting to strangle me.
"Such a devil" he mutters under his breath as I shove him away, fixing up my glasses and cap, which I haven't taken off the entire trip after Sawamura's core shattering comment.
"Yo Eijun-Kun, you can stop screaming, we're here" A voice hollars from the front of the bus, I presume It's Miya-Chan.
His eyes glimmer as he darts his gaze out the window, to which we both see the entrance of Haiheo College, the place were the match will be played. Our team will be doing nothing more than simply observing from the bleachers, but apparently that's good enough to travel two hours for.
The two buses ahead our's are already parked at the bus zone, but they presumably just arrived becuase students are only just getting off.
Our whole bus had a total of nine people travelling in it, the majority being second string players aside from Sawamura and I. While the others had something like thirty people each.
"The match is about to start, we ran a bit over time, everyone follow the lovely lady in yellow through the school and out to the field" seventy-something kids all follow coach's instructions, and walk through the college out to the match.
"Miyuki-Kun" a peering voice chimes, it's Kurochi. At this point I've loss Sawamura in the crowds of people, so I guess I'll link up with Ku-Chan.
"How badass is this? Front row seats to a college game! Perks of being in a great High school eh?" He jokes, catching up and walking beside me. We both get a chuckle out of his shitty attempts at jokes.
After claiming some good seats up the front near the field, Kurochi and I begin to assess the game, picking out who the strongest players are on each team and what techniques certain positions are using.
Ah, I feel like such a nerd.
...
"Kurochi?"
"Yea?"
"Do I look like a rat?"
"Kinda"
********
2:21pm"That number sixteen is probably better at bating than he is at catching, he's had trouble catching low balls, but yet this is his fourth run for the team so far"
Kurochi and I have been continuing to ridicule the players and judge them by all means for the past three hours. We're in seriously no place to talk, these college students are way better than us in almost every form.
The game is close to ending, with Haiheo down by two runs, and it's unfortunate because they're currently fielding. There's only a few batters left, and an average match only goes for about three hours anyway.
