Henry stared at Ray worriedly. "You alright, pal?" His response was a punch.

"Come on, hurry up!" Henry complained.

"I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying," Schwoz replied, his accent making it hard for Henry to understand him.

"Ray could be anywhere by now, Schwoz, you need to take this seriously!" Henry paced the floor of the Man Cave repeatedly. "Somehow, Doctor Minyak and Nurse Cohort captured him, and who knows what they could be doing?"

"Got it!" Schwoz exclaimed a few minutes later.

"Well, where is he?" Henry snapped, hurrying over to Schwoz, fidgeting with his hands.

"In the abandoned warehouse on the south end of Swellview," he explained.

"Cool, cool," Henry said, grabbing his gum tube and blowing a bubble. "I'm gonna go now."

"Er, no you are not!" Charlotte protested, glaring at the boy. "You haven't even worked out a plan, what are you going to do when you find them?"

"...Take them down? I'm a superhero, Char," Henry said, rolling his eyes. "Not a super zero."

"Sidekick," she corrected out of habit. "Fine, don't plan then. But don't come running to me if you get hurt."

"Trust me, I wouldn't," he snarked back.

Henry ran to the warehouse, being mindful to avoid going public ways. He didn't want to be mobbed and waste valuable time that could be used to save Ray.

"Come on, almost there," he murmured quietly. He sprinted the last few blocks, and almost sighed in relief when he got there.

He sat down with his back against the wall and tried to catch his breath. He sat there for a few minutes, and when he had finally caught his breath again, he quickly thought of a battle plan.

Go in, get Ray, get out. Easy enough. Minyak and Cohort aren't experienced fighters anyway.

Henry walked into the building carefully, watching out for traps or anything else that could stop him from getting to Ray. He then looked around properly and stood still in shock.

There he was.

In the middle of the room.

Standing still.

Hadn't even bothered to try and get out.

Henry didn't know if this was a trap or not, but either way he would've gone up to Ray and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, Ray?" he asked. "Is that you? You there?"

Ray just stared straight ahead of him, like Henry wasn't even there.

Henry stared at him worriedly. "You alright, pal?" he asked.

His response was a punch.

He just about managed to dodge it, using his hyper motility. "Woah woah woah, there! It's me! It's Kid Danger! It's the awesome kid you practically spend all of your time with!"

Ray made no sign that he heard what he had said, choosing instead to punch Henry again.

Henry, thinking that Ray was just fooling around (because he couldn't possibly be bad) didn't manage to dodge that one. He couldn't tell when the punches were coming. He couldn't tell the future!

"Okay, Ray, so you've really gotta work on your punches," he babbled, finding that it helped him stay focused during the fight. "I think that if you make it lighter when hitting me, I won't feel like I need to pass out."
