Her fist connected with the hydra soldier's cheek as he attempted to aim his gun, the impact made a cracking sound as he dropped his rifle, growling slightly. He glared at her, his eyes glowing darkly with the intent to kill. He wanted to kill her; she would get to him first.

He thrust his body forward, and she ran, sliding between his legs. The young woman pushed herself off the ground, pivoting on her feet and jumping onto his shoulders. Grabbing metal wire from the pouch strapped around her waist whilst squeezing her thighs tightly, she wrapped the wire around his neck. He struggled at the wire while it suffocated him, but he couldnt get his fingers underneath it. The man's body went limp and Adriana jumped off his shoulders as his body hit the ground, his green eyes growing hazy.

She smirked in triumph before realizing there were three other soldiers surrounding her, their guns raised with their fingers on the trigger. They began to shout in Sokovian, commanding her to stand down. She began to raise her hands, causing them to believe that she was surrendering. They began to put their guns down when she crouched low, pulling throwing knives from her boots and hitting the men in the ankles. She kicked the last man standing in the face, and rendered the other two unconscious.

"Hawkeye is down." A voice echoed in her ear. Adriana, although worried about her friend, decided she would continue on with the mission. She knew he would get taken care of. The young woman started in the direction of the base, when she was knocked off her feet by an unknown assailant. She flipped in the air, landing on her feet in a crouched position. Her hands reached for her weapons, only to find them missing.

"I believe that there is an enhanced in the field," Adriana voiced, narrowing her eyes as she surveyed the clearing. She observed the bushes, the trees. Then she noticed the bushes' leaves rustle. She threw out her arm, hoping what she was planning worked. She felt the assailant slam into her arm, and she heard the thump as the unknown person slammed into the ground as a result.

She peered down at the assailant, pressing her foot against his chest to keep him down. "Who are you?" She growled at the silver haired man. He appeared to be out of breath, most likely from slamming into the ground.

"How'd you do that?" He asked, his Sokovian accent thick.

"Oh, so you didn't see that coming?" Raising an eyebrow, she pushed her foot against him harder to stop him from writhing around. "Now answer my question. Who the hell are—"

Adriana didn't have time to finish her sentence, because the man had grabbed her ankle. Within the blink of an eye her back was on the ground, his arm was pushing on her windpipe, cutting off her air supply.

Her face began turn red as she gasped for air. "You didn't see that coming?" He retorted.

Adriana knew she had to do something, and so she resorted to using her special skills as Tony liked to call her abilities. Energy surged through her body, and she threw her arms up. An invisible force slammed into the man, throwing his back into a tree a few yards away. He let out a pained groan as he fell to the ground. Once he stood back up she noticed his stance change and she threw her hands up, and he slammed back into the tree, only this time the invisible force kept him there.

"Really, a force field? That's so generic!"

His comment caught her off-guard. And then she was ticked off. "Well, I'm sorry, Speedy, does my power not satisfy you? It's not like I got to choose my power."

Adriana, despite herself being a skilled assassin, had gotten too distracted by the man in front of her to notice a woman approaching her from behind. She was too distracted to hear the crunch of the snow beneath the woman's shoes as her hands glowed red. "Pain," she hissed into the young Agent's ear. Scarlet wisps swam into her vision, and suddenly every nerve in her body was on fire. Her mind screamed as every cell in her body was wrought with pain.

She pressed her hands to either side of her head, pulling at her hair as a scream tore from her lips. Through blurry eyes, she saw the two leaving, and she could do nothing to stop them.

"Agent Zavesky , what's happening?" The voice seemed so far away, she couldn't tell who'd asked the question.

"I...Don't...Know!" She said through gritted teeth, falling to the ground and writhing in pain. Adriana rolled onto her side, flashes of the dream she'd had going through her mind. Flashes of blood and fire; screams echoed in her head. The young woman, at that moment, felt something change within her. Whatever that woman did woke up a sleeping dragon.

Finally, the pain began to fade away. Leaving her whole body numb as she stared up at the cloudy sky. Thor appeared moments later, and she groaned as he lifted her up in his arms to take her back to the Quin Jet.

Adriana leaned her head against Steve, pulling the blanket up around her shoulders. "Thor, report on the Hulk," Natasha was kneeling down in front of Bruce, trying to bring him out of his depression.

"The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims!" He said, not realizing that, that was not what the man wanted to hear. Adriana laughed when Natasha gave him a small glare.

"But not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no, wounded screams. Mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and... gout." Thor tried to save face but it only made it worse. Adriana sighed, looking away from the group and down at her hands. Her whole body was turning back to normal, but she still felt tingly. She wasn't sure why, but she figured it would go away soon enough.

"Adriana," she heard Tony call her name so she tilted her head towards him. "What happened out there?"

"I'm not sure," her voice was still hoarse from screaming in agony. "What I do know is that the pain I felt was from whatever that witch did to me."

"What did they look like, and what were their powers?" Tony asked, getting out his tablet to send the information to Maria Hill.

"The one I was fighting was the one that Clint encountered," she nodded her head at the man on the table. "He had silver hair, tall and muscular, had some facial hair. He was fast. Really fast. The other one, I didn't see much of her. I just saw red hair, and I'm pretty sure she can make our minds do what she wants."

"I saw her, she can move things. And she can produce this red energy," Steve interjected, giving Tony the rest of the information she didn't have. Adriana shifted in her seat, digging her forehead into Steve's shoulder as a headache began to develop. The star spangled man with a plan watched as she fell asleep, and then he moved her body over, laying her across the seats and getting up to put her legs up where he sat so she could lay down.

"Any idea what that was? Back at the base?" Steve turned towards Tony and Thor.

"No, but it wasn't good from what I could tell."

"I tracked where it was coming from. And you won't like where it led." The god's eyes landed on the sleeping woman behind Steve.

They all turned to her wondering, just what the hell happened?
