"So you're telling me that you dont find him cute at all?" I said

Babi. If you saw those two in the hallway you would think that they date but they unfourtunately dont. Even though he is Miles' bestfriend, he is the opposite.
"Are u crazy?!!!.........wait thats not a bad idea." She realized "See?" I chuckled "Imma go call him" she said Phone convo with Babi and Aaron
Aaron: hello?
Babi: hey Aaron i was wondering if you can come over to watch movies with me and my friend.
Aaron: yea sure. See you later babe
Babi: bye Aaron*chuckles* Phone conversation over "Im guessing hes coming" i said as i popped popcorn "Girl yes" she said excited About 15 minutes later we heard a knock... "ITS AARON WHAT DO I DO?!! DOES MY HAIR LOOK OK? HERE SMELL MY BREATH"she whisper-yelled asking 50 questions at once.
"Girl you look fine, now go asnwer the door" i demanded "Ok" she does as told "Hey Ron" she spoke "Hey ma"Aaron said walking in "Hey Imani" she waved at me from the living room while i was in the kitchen pouring popcorn into a large bowl. I didnt think he would know my name since hes popular and on the basket ball team.
"Hey" i spoke up "What we watchin' guys" he says ploppong on the couch. "Well we were watching Meet The Blacks"Babi told Aaron sitting next to him. "I WANNA WATCH 13 REASONS WHY!"
I exclaimed walking towards the couch and sitting down. "Isnt that show about the stupid white girl who kill herself ?" He questioned

After a few episodes i called it a night since i was 3rd wheeling. They were all cuddled up not paying attention. So i decided to leave them alone and make my way out the door. "I guess im leaving. See you guys tomorrow at school" i waved goodbye "See ya later Sissy" she blew a kiss at me and i act like i caught it. "Bye lil sis" Aaron said And with that i left the house. It was dark but the street lights were on. I wanted to pick up some food for the house so i walked up the street to the grocery store. As i was walking i felt eyes on me so i turned around and i before i knew it i was pushed up against a car. He was tall and dark and he look like he was in his late 20s. "GET OFF ME !!! HELP HELP" I screamed trying to get put of his tight grip. "Shhhhh baby girl" the man put his dirty fingers on my lip. "HELP GET. OFF. OF. ME!" i said sruggling. Lucas pov
I was walking home from Jada's house cuz her parents werent home so you know i had to get that head👅. But i needed to stop by the store to get me some food. I heard screaming but i thought i was trippin. Then i heeard it again.
"GET OF ME!!! SOMEONE HELP!" i ran to where i heard screaming and i got closer. It was like a man in her late 20s trynna get with someone my age. He was touching all on her like was gonna do something. I looked closer to see who the girl was......it was my baby Imani. I ran and tackled the man and i managed to get on top of him and start punching the life outta his face untill i saw blood. I stood up
"You ok?" I asked staring at her
"Yeah im fine...thank you"she said still stunned at what just happened.
"Wth are you doin out here this late?" I questioned "I was walking home from a Babi's but i need food for the house so i stopped here" she said looking down. "Well im glad you're ok"
Imani pov
"Well im glad you're ok" Did those words just come outta his mouth? I always liked Miles even tho he bullied me. There was just something inside me that told me to like him. "Yea im fine" i said walking towards the entrance of the store "Ok good" Lucas said We walked in together in silence. There was a lot of tension in the air. We went our seperate ways. About 10 minutes later we ended up in the same aisle. I would go to another one to aviod him but i was running outta time. I was in the snack aisle lookin for oreos then i spotted them. It was on the top shelf so you know what that means. I had to jump to get to them. I jumped...and jumped.....and jumped some more.
Miles pov
Imani spotted me in the snack aisle. I looked at her but i made sure she didnt notice. She was lookin fine in them jeans i cant even lie. I picked up my chips and i turned around to see Amber jumping to get oreos. I bit my lip watching her struggle a bit before helping her. "Here. I gotchu ma" i 'accidentally' slipped my hand down her waist. "Thank you"she thanked I starred in her eyes and bit my lip. Girls love that. "Look i gotta go, thanks again Miles" she said "Lemme walk you home." I said "Sure"
