Chapter 5

I could feel his eyes on my back. Shiver ran down my body at his voice.

"Emrale." He called again.
He already sounded so cold.

Will I be able to confront him about things I have found out? Will he be comfortable to share them with me? Will he trust me with it? Since he hid it for so many years. What if he thinks I am judging him? How should I start now that I am aware he loves me?

God! Why is it so difficult? I have never given one thought to spit out anything before Ted and Leyla But now things have become so complicated.

"I am talking to you." He called again.
Loosing the patience.

His voice so hoarse. I can't imagine Ted with a voice like that. He sounded so bad! It broke my heart. But at the same time my body was beginning to shake with anger. I hated to know that my best friends kept things from me! Though I was already finished outbursting on Leyla. I couldn't let Ted to get away with it so easily.

"You should have talked much before!" I said.
Trying hard enough to keep my voice minimum.

"What- what are you talking about?"
He pretended so bad.

"I don't know either! May be about you being a wizard? Or may be this wall right here in front of me! Or how about you losing your mum because of me!"
I shouted at last.
Tears burning in my eyes.

"Shut up!" He said even before I complete. He said it angrily but in very low voice.

"So tell me from where should I start? How about starting it from how you being a wizard and hiding from me?!"
I raged.

Almost ready to slap him right in face.

"How- how come-" he stuttered.

He was shocked.

"How come is it possible that Emrale the blind found out about my truth! That's what you are wondering right?"
I imitated him.

"No." He said absent mindedly.

I didn't answered so he can carry on.

"I am wondering how can you see a wall."
He said looking at the wall and then looking back at me.

That angered me more.

"Oh! Great! So you actually think I am blind and can not see this bloody wall with pictures of mine and that quotes in the corners!"

"That's not what I meant."

"Or are you trying to accuse me of interrupting your privacy."

"That is enough Emrale!"

"Because, excuse me! I don't care to do it as it is about me! This mess is because of me!"

"I said shut up! Don't blame your self!" He said looking me in the eye.

He held me by shoulder but I shrugged him quickly.

He was interrupting me every now and then, with both of ours anger rising high.

"What is going on over here?"
We heard Leyla standing uncomfortably in the door.

"Leys, come here!"
Ted rushed to her dragging her in.

What was he trying to do?

"What? Ted listen Emrale knows-"
She began looking at me nervously.

"What do you see on this wall?"
He asked, ignoring her.

Both mine and Leyla's expressions were same. Ridiculous!

"C'mon Leyla! Tell me! What do you see?"
He began again restless.
