Chapter 12

When all you can see is darkness, you learn to understand it rather than searching for light. But does the hope dies away? Well that's what keeps you alive.

It was not easy to let Ted go. Especially for Leyla. She really wanted him by her side. But she didn't wanted to hurt him by going against him in front of his eye. She was too nervous all the way I drove towards the forest.

"She won't imprint you just as she looks at you Leyla. I am sure she is as nervous as you are."
I tried to calm her down.

"Yes but I don't have sheild to keep her from imprinting. Plus that's not what I want."
She said getting more hyper.

"Okay. Okay Leyla just breath alright? You know, when you will see her this all will vanish and there will be a beautiful silence."
I told her. That's how it is when I meet James. Everytime.

When we reached the place we had decided to meet. (It was where first time I found out James and his siblings were werewolves.)
James and Bella were sitting on the wood log. James was trying to calm his sister. Once they sensed our arrival they turned and Leyla hid behind me and Bella held on to his brother's arm tightly. James and I smiled looking at each other.

"Hey"
We said.

"Hi Bella."
I called her politely and she nodded with small smile.

I pulled out Leyla lightly and she clutched my hand.

"Hello Leyla."
James said.

"Hi."
She said.

"Don't you want to talk?" I whispered in her ear and pushed her very lightly towards Bella.

"H-hello."
They said to each other.

"How are you?"
Bella asked.

"Fine and you?"
Leyla responded.

"Better now. I am sorry for whatever happened last time. I didn't knew it will be like that."
Bella said.

"It's okay. No one could have done anything about it."
Leyla said.

Once we thought they were fine now we decided to leave them alone.

"Okay you guys carry on talking we will meet you here itself after sometime."
James said.

And patted his sister's back. I can see how much Leyla was missing Ted.

I hugged her and wished her luck.

After that I and James walked together to the same place where we sat after I was almost drowned on the beach that day.

"So he left?"
James asked.

"We made him leave."
I corrected.
He nodded.

"Do you think they will be fine?"
He asked.

"We can't hope anything else."
I told him and held his hand tight.

"You talked to Ted?"
He asked and I looked at him confused.

"Yes. But how do you know?"
I asked.

"You look better at his mention now."
He answered simply.

I nodded with small smile.

"So what happened in library? You looked so different then."
He asked.

"Oh yes. I wanted to tell you but we already had so much served. It was so unusual but that really helped me out in this mess. I met a couple there, I didn't knew them but they were so kind and welcoming..."
I told the whole episode that happened in the library. He listened carefully. I was drowned in my whole story yet again.
