I didn't know how to react at that moment, I was standing between survival and life.

At first Ted didn't realized his presence but when I was trying hard to stay stable and calm Ted realized it too.

"Emrale. You know I won't blame you for anything. Especially when its about my feelings."

He said. He completely ignored his presence, for which I was glad and continued.

"I am glad more than enough that you still take me as your friend. Yes I did expressed my feelings when I think it was best. But the way I did it, was wrong. I should have been clear. I should have given you sometime. I should have given you some hint or talk to you about it clearly. Also, about the truth of me being a wizard, when I knew sooner or later you will find out about it. About him. I should have told you what I knew before you asked me. Before it collapsed on you like this. I should have told you the first day you saw him in the school. Or the day he helped you with the car. But I kept quite not only because I didn't knew how you would take it or I doubted if you would believe me but also bec- because-"
He suddenly stuttered breaking my flow in his story.

"Because?"
I asked.

"Alright I didn't wanted him to hear this."
He said looking down from the terrace into bushes.

I could hear James laughing lightly in his mind. Sometimes he is really a beast.

I just wanted to make sure you are fine. I will leave.
It were his thoughts talking to me.

I didn't knew if it will work but I just thought of giving it a try.

Don't hate him James, he is and still will be my friend. He is finally someone I knew since childhood.
I said.

How can I hate someone who loves you my dear.
He said.

But for me it will always be you.
I said.

I know. See you at the library.
With that he left.

"Emrale? You there?"
Ted called.

"Ye-yeah. You can say now, James left."
I said.

"Yeah I was saying I didn't told you because I was- alright you sure he left?"
He again broke the flow. I felt irritated at that moment cause I was really eager to hear what made James laugh at such a serious moment.

"Yes Ted!"
I said composing my posture.

"Huff! Because I was jealous of that beast!"
He said as if accepting a sin. Also he pouted like a baby. All red in face.

That did made me break into laughter.

He was irritated at that time but was glad to see me laughing and joined in too.

I was glad to have that comfort back in my life which Ted gave. Again back to being his girl mate yeah that's the word which suits us better since we can't be friends like we use to and I can't love him back. He will be my guy mate.
That's what we decided.

"I know it won't be easy. But I can't afford to lose you."
He said as he agreed with the terms.

The light chuckling was soon joined by coffee and Leyla.

"Th-thanx Leys."
Ted said.
There was something now unstable in between them. But it can wait for this moment. This moment where everything is like my home. When finally we three are back to being us. After everything that happened.
That's how a friends are isn't it. Making mess. Falling in mess. Then coming over it and then laughing all over it.
