1: Problems and Partners

"If I get paired up with anyone that looks slightly preppy I will either kill myself of them"

Dean turned his head to see Paige standing at her locker beside him, a scowl on her face.

"You're being way too overdramatic Paige" Roman Reigns said from the other side of Dean. Luckily, the threes lockers were all next to each other.

"Well, are you happy with this project?" She asked, tapping her foot.

"Well," Roman shut his locker and thought for a moment. "No, not really."

The three began to walk to Psychology, none of them pleased that it was their first lesson, Roman and Paige were dreading their impending doom and Dean was dreading having to stay awake for an hour.

"What about you?" Paige asked Dean.

"What about me?" Dean replied, snapping out of his trance.

"How do you feel about this project dumbass" Paige rolled her eyes and Roman chuckled.

Dean shrugged. "I'm not really fussed. Just another project"

Roman raised an eyebrow. "Dean you have to get to know someone else and basically become their best friend, someone that you've probably never spoken to."

"Yeah and? I'm lovable"

"Dude like everyone besides us are terrified of you" The raven-haired girl interrupted.

"Not true" Dean defended.

"True" Roman and Paige spoke at the same time.

"Besides, What if you get paired with like a jock?"

"Then I'll irritate them for nine weeks" Dean replied casually as they turned a corner.

"What if you get paired with a nerd?" Roman asked.

"Then I'll make em cool, no big deal. Like Mrs Brooks said, it's to expand our communication skills or whatever. You know that I hate how this school is"

Roman and Paige looked at each other and shrugged. "You're crazy man, one single project ain't gonna change shit" Roman laughed as Paige opened the door to their class, twenty-eight eyes suddenly upon them.

"Nice of you three to show up." Mrs Brooks raised her eyebrow.

"Sorry" Paige muttered and the three took their seats.

"Not a problem" Mrs Brooks turned back to the class. "Like I was saying, after a whole night of careful consideration and analysis of your test results I have partnered you all up."

A few eyes looked at Mrs Brooks nervously, it had been something that had played on Seth's mind all night. He felt silly for fretting so much but he couldn't help it.

"Right so let's get started, when your name has been called stand up so your partner knows who you are and please keep complaints to a low level, I have a huge headache" She clapped her hands together and picked up a piece of paper from her desk. "Right, first of all, we have Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn!"

Sami jumped out of his seat and did a little bow towards the direction of Kevin who didn't look impressed. Kevin walked over to Sami and the two sat down, Sami's face still plastered with a smile.

"That's going to be interesting" Asuka whispered to Finn.

"Second of all, we have Finn Bálor and Bayley!" Bayley and Finn stood up, even though they were sat together. The pair both had a smile on their face and it was evident that Finn was pleased that he didn't have to partner up with someone else.
