"Alright, class I'll see you all on Friday. I hope that you put some effort into this project, I know the majority of you aren't happy with this but it could be something fun. Just try for me okay?" Mrs Brooks said as the class packed away their things.

Seth shoved his things into his bag and waited for the bell. He just wanted to go to next lesson and devise a plan for how he was going to survive the next nine weeks. As soon as the bell rang, the class flooded towards the door, but Seth stood back. He didn't fancy getting shoved.

However, it seemed as if Dean had the same idea. "Hey what do you have next?" He asked Seth as the two finally managed to get out of the classroom.

"Physics" Seth replied flatly.

"Me too, I'll walk with you" Dean offered and Seth internally sighed. "Wait I have a better idea." Dean stopped in front of Seth and Seth crossed his arms, seeing a glint in Dean's eyes.

"Dean I've got to get to class" Dean smirked and shook his head as students walked around them. He pulled Seth to the side of the hall so they wouldn't be in the way of anyone else and Seth let out a squirm in surprise. "What are you doing?" He hissed, slightly scared.

"Nothing jeez" Dean held his hands up defensively. "Do you wanna skip with me?"

Seth was taken aback by Dean's suggestion. "Why on Earth would I want to do that?"

"So we get to know each other and to get a good grade on this project, dur" Dean said matter of factly and Seth hated that he actually cared about this project. He didn't want to spend any more time with Dean than necessary, they'd spent the remainder of the previous lesson talking, well Dean did the talking and Seth replied flatly here and there.

"We can do that some other time, we're late for class" Seth tried to get past Dean but Dean wouldn't let him.

"Let's be even later and not turn up," Dean suggested and Seth glared. "Come on, it's not like you need to go anyway, you know it all."

"Thanks?" Seth asked and Dean chuckled.

"Come on we can go for something to eat, I'll pay" Dean offered and Seth sighed.

"Are you going to give this up?" He asked, looking to see if any teachers were approaching.

"Nope," Dean smiled. "Not unless you come with me, come on I thought you wanted to get a good grade. It's for educational purposes only my friend"

Seth sighed. He didn't want to skip with Dean, he was a good student, he'd never skipped before. Yet he'd always wanted to try something adventurous but he'd never had the courage to. Maybe Dean was the courage he needed. Dean tilted his head, awaiting an answer. He didn't really want to go to class late though either, it would be embarrassing, so he was left at a crossroad. "Fine" Seth finally said.

"Good, let's go!" Dean took off and Seth jogged to keep up with, adjusting his backpack slightly.

"How are we going to do this?" Seth asked.

"Keep quiet and put your head down as if you're sick. Mella loves me so just go along with whatever I say."

"How many times have you done this?"

"More than once" Dean chuckled and Seth nodded.

Eventually, the duo reached the main office, where the receptionist, a lady named Carmella sat.

"Oh hey, Dean! What can I do for you?" She asked, looking up from her nails.

"I'm doing good thank you Mella, unfortunately, my friend Seth here isn't" Dean pointed to Seth, who kept his head down like Dean advised. "Poor thing has spent the last ten minutes throwing up in the bathroom."

"I didn't know the two of you were friends but aw that's disgusting, poor baby" Mella cooed and Seth cringed at her tone. He was pretending to be sick, not a three-month baby.

"I know" Dean sympathised and Seth was surprised at how believable Dean sounded. He was a damn good actor.

"You want me to call his mom?" She asked, chewing her gum loudly as she reached for the phone.

"No need" Dean replied. "I already phoned her, she said that if it's okay with you then I should take him home. Apparently, he gets light headed when he's sick."

"That's not good, we don't want any fainters now" Carmella laughed as she reached into her desk and pulled out a piece of paper, scribbling on it.

"Here, show this to Mrs Mizanin" She handed the slip that granted them permission to leave to Dean and Dean beckoned Seth to follow him.

"Thank you, Mella, we'll see you later when Sethie here is feeling better!" He called out.

"Bye darlings, hope you feel better soon Seth" Mella called back and the two could hear her tap away on her keyboard.

"Never call me that again" Seth muttered after the pair were away from Carmella's eyeshot.

Dean chuckled and the two turned a corner, walking up to Mrs Mizanin, who as usual, didn't look happy.

"Shouldn't you two be in lesson?" She asked, her French accent thick.

Dean just handed her the slip, she looked at it suspiciously before reluctantly pressing a button that opened the door. "Thanks, Ma'am, see you later," Dean yelled out but Mrs Mizanin didn't reply.

Seth kept his eyes glued to the floor until the two were finally out of the school. He let out a little laugh, still really surprised that they'd been able to pull that off. He was really skipping school. "Wow, we did that! She totally believed us" He chuckled.

"It's like taking candy from a baby" Dean smiled. "Mella's great but can have her moments"

"Wow, I'm actually doing this. Seth Rollins is skipping school with Dean Ambrose." He chuckled, feeling slightly glad that he agreed to come.

"Yes you are, you seem happier now then back then" Dean chuckled. "My car is over there but before we go I've got to ask, do you like pancakes?"

N O T E S

• So Dean managed to get Seth to skip with him, but did he make the right choice?

• I love Carmella but it's fun to write her as a hopeless blonde tbh.

• Lately I've been getting a lot of inspiration for this story which is great, hopeful,ly things are going at a decent pace. I don't want things to go too fast or too slow because I want this book to have quite a few chapters.

• The next chapter will focus on Dean and Seth but the one after that should focus on everyone.

• The Edge and Christian podcast is the only thing keeping me sane until MITB tonight, (which for me doesn't start till midnight so boy am I going to be tired in the morning) their voices just calm me down. I'm currently listening to the Hardy Boyz one and it's making me so happy.

• I hope you all have a nice day! Feel free to leave any feedback, I love reading your comments.

• QOTD: Are you going to watch MITB tonight?
