Dean slammed his front door shut and dumped his coat, bag and shoes at the door. As per usual no one was home, no one was ever home.
The sight of the pristine, luxurious house that Dean was supposed to call home sickened him. This wasn't his home and it never would be. Everything looked brand new and it might as well be brand new, it's not like anyone ever used anything. Dean's "mother" was never home, she was too busy stripping for some strange man and his "father", well he didn't even know where his father was. It'd always been this way. He didn't have parents, he had an egg donor and a sperm donor. He knew that he was supposed to love his mother but she wasn't his mother, she didn't love him, she only loved sleeping around and doing everything that she wasn't supposed to do. The only reason she bought a fancy house and everything in it was to keep her reputation up, so no one would know that her son raised himself. The only reason she bought Dean whatever he wanted was so that he'd keep their dirty little secret a secret, she wouldn't be able to survive the embarrassment of people knowing that her son was taken away by social services because she couldn't be a mother. It made Dean sick. He didn't even know why he kept her secret, he would be a lot better off in a place where people actually cared about him but it would be embarrassing for him, he didn't want anyone else knowing what happened behind closed doors. Not even Paige and Roman knew everything, of course they knew some parts of Dean's life, they were his family. He could trust them.
Before he could allow his thoughts to completely take over him, he went into his room and flopped onto his bed with a sigh. Unlike the rest of his house, Dean's room mirrored his personality perfectly, it was messy but clean, he had band and wrestling posters covering the majority of the walls and so on. It was the only part of the house he enjoyed being in.
He pulled out his phone and checked the time, rolling his eyes at the result. 2:15pm. He debated whether or not he should text someone just to get rid of his boredom and eventually decided to text Seth, momentarily forgetting that he was still in school.
dean: salutations seth
dean: see what i did there
dean: alliteration
dean: i'm just as smart as you areseth📒: where even are you lol

seth📒: now where are you? i can't see you anywhere.dean: looking out for me huh sethy boy?
dean: & i'm at home, i have this deal with mella, whenever i have maths she writes me a sick note so i can go home and i don't tell anyone about her dating a student.seth📒: isn't that blackmail and like very illegal?
dean: yes and no, we both get what we want and dw the kid is in our year so it's only like a two year gap. only reason mella got the job was because her mom's the deputy head and she was worried mella wouldn't do anything in life because of her grades and stuff.
seth📒: i don't even want to know how you know all that
dean: what can i say? i'm magic

seth📒: no dean
dean: eh it was worth a shot
dean: you wanna hang out after school today?seth📒: sure, i don't have plans, my mom should say yes
