I know I haven't always been there for you.
You haven't always been there for me, but Am I the only one who wants this thing we call a friendship to work?
or would you rather let the ship sink?
Hanging by the last thread which only exists because of the Blessing we have.
I spoke to God about you,
and i asked him to not allow you to leave my life.
You may not see it but you mean a lot to me,
You were my best friend,
I settled to be a good friend as you slowly drifted away but you pinned the blame on me and i accepted it.
Then we were just friends,
It felt like I was eating plain bread but because I was hungry I ate because beggers can't be choosers.
Now you drift away even further and that I can't handle,
because as clichéd as it sounds but i honestly can't imagine my life without you.
Don't say goodbye just yet I plead.
I see a bright future for us not just you and I but I see the crew as well.
Sure we have had our ups and downs but that's what relationships are about,
But the most important thing is that you rise above.

But if you'll hold on and never let go then I'll take the blame.
