You once said "love ruins everything"...
I told you " I love you"...
Silence and tears filled the room.

Fumes of lust filled our eyes,
Inside you...you needed me
But you can never lose yourself over me.
Inside you...I wanted to,
But I can never make you lose yourself.

Everything felt so right,
Like the world didn't exist...
Just for a moment.
I remember how you stripped my insecurities naked,
And before your eyes a completely vulnerable being laid on
The bed.
I told you something I wouldn't dare tell another soul.

In the frosty house that only had you and me,
With your head on my chest so you could hear my
Heart skip a beat.
How could something so wrong feel so right?
How did we even get here?
I keep replaying the night we spent together.
I am reminded how my heart was crushed when
You shed tears,
How on earth was I so good in making you
Cry,
I was reminded why you and I can't be together,
I'm bad for your health...
And although this breaks my heart.
I pray that one day I fade away from your memory.
