"Hurry up, I can't keep this thing caged forever." I snapped as the hog squealed and protested its captivity.
For the past two days, I had been searching high and low for Daryl and Rick. After a while of searching I asked Hershel if he knew where they went. According to him, they had left to go on a run a little farther away than usual. So they were going to take three days to get back. I found this out two days ago, and I had been gone for a day, which meant that they had to come home today, otherwise something had went wrong.
We were suppose to go about our daily routines with no runs, unless there's an emergency according to Rick.
My first thought was Daryl arguing and fighting with Rick, or the other way around but I knew that was total bullshit. Rick and Daryl were literally brothers. You don't punch your brother in the face. Well I assume you don't punch your brother in the face. I never punched Jason, but I guess you never know.
Currently I was helping Michonne and Tyreese with the pig pen situation. I had the stupid wild hog trapped in a giant wooden crate and the stupid pig was doing everything in it's power to crack open the box, therefore I had to sit down on top of the crate.
Michonne and Tyreese just finished the pig pen fence, and they were just making sure it was completely secure before we let a wild animal roam free inside of it.
"Alright, I think it's good." Michonne mumbled to herself.
"Finally." I cried, the box shaking underneath me dangerously.
Tyreese came over and I slid off the crate and watched it jump around madly until we both grabbed it and placed it inside of the pen.
Michonne had a crowbar and was easily prying the wood off the crate before the pig was free and snorting around.
Michonne, Tyreese and I cleaned the wood up and dumped it into the giant garbage bin before watching the hog squirm around in the crate. "You grabbed the pregnant one right?" I asked, glaring at the animal.
"I think so, thats what Hershel said." Michonne pondered.
I sighed and wiped the dirt off my hands onto my jeans. "Good, I am not wrestling another one of those bastards into a crate, again." I grumbled.
"Have you guys seen Karen?" Tyreese suddenly blurted out.
Michonne and I furrowed our brows and I glanced over at the five fence cleaners, all stabbing away at the crazed walkers through the fence. "Isn't that her?" I asked, pointing to the curly brunette angrily stabbing walkers in the face.
Tyreese smiled a bit and he sighed hopelessly. "Go talk to her." Michonne urged, obviously getting the same vibe from Tyreese that I had gotten.
Tyreese, the man that smashes walkers faces in with a hammer, has a crush on the feisty but kindhearted Karen.
"We don't have anything to talk about." Tyreese mumbled sadly.
"Go help with fence cleaning, it could bring you together." I gestured with my palms moving together.
Michonne smiled her gorgeous grin while Tyreese impatiently nibbled on his lip. For such a big guy, he seemed kinda sensitive.
"Okay, I will." He mumbled as he turned and walked towards the fence.
I wiped the sweat off of my forehead and began walking up towards the Prison with Michonne at my side.
The dull ache in my stomach rolled through again and I just ignored it like the rest of the cramps.
