"So, I heard you're running for sure now." Sebastian says as he opens the door to the Taylor's mansion.
"Hey, remember when you called me a bitch?" I pause, placing a hand on my hip. "Well I do, and I still would rather not talk to you. It's for the best." I nod my head and give him a fake smile.
"Okay, well Sabrina's upstairs." he shrugs, leaving me standing on the porch.
I glare at his departing figure as I step inside, closing the large door. I slide off my shoes before mounting the large staircase. Loud pop music floated through the halls from Sabrina's room, making me feel like she forgot she invited me earlier today to come to her house.
"Sabrina?" I knock on her closed door, waiting for an answer.
I wait a couple more seconds before I barge into her room. A pants less Sabrina was shaking her butt with no shame on her bed. I cover my mouth to stifle the laughter, but eventually I gave out.
"Shit. I forgot you were coming." Sabrina curses, hopping off her bed.
"Well now you remember." I smile, sitting down in her desk chair and turning towards her.
"God, I need a man in my life." Sabrina sighs, pulling on a pair of shorts. "Only single girls with no lives dance on their beds with no pants on."
"Um, okay?." I tell her, furrowing my eyebrows together.
"No offense to you, but if you can have a guy as hot as Colton, so can I." she tells me shrugging.
"Thanks?" I stutter, trying to get past the semi insult I just received.
"I don't need another jock or popular guy though. I need a guy with substance and actually knows how to treat a woman like me." she explains, walking across her room.
"You're asking for a lot, even Colton isn't that perfect." I tell her, spinning around in her chair.
"I know, maybe I should go for an older guy." She says as if she's had an epiphany. "It makes so much sense now. Should I go college or college proffesor?" she questions, a hand on her hip.
"Hold on, you're still seventeen." I tell her, hoping she sees the problem in all of this.
"I'll be eighteen in like 4 months." she shrugs, tying her hair into a ponytail.
"That's a long time Sabrina." I warn her.
"It's not like people have to know anyway."
"Sabrina, maybe you should find yourself a respectable guy your age." I say, placing my head in my hand.
"Like who? The only guy that I know that seems "dateable" is Drew, and you clearly have feelings for him, so he's off limits." she tells me, staring at her phone in her hands. My eyes widen at her acussation, but I don't say anything, not wanting to jndulge in this conversation.
"That's not at all true, and he's not off limits. At least not to me." I say, pointing to myself.
She looks up at me with a skeptical look in her eyes. Her lips pull to the side as she sets her phone down, and it didn't take a genius to realize she was thinking about something.
"So you're saying I can pursue Drew? she asks me slowly.
"Yeah, I won't have a problem with it. It'd be good for him...and you." I tell her, leaving out the part that she would be the perfect distraction for Drew's feelings for me. I mean who could turn down Sabrina, she is pretty and nice once you got to know her, a perfect candidate.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, you should call him to go meet up or something." I push her on, standing to my feet.
