Four hours until my debut to our senior class in this beautiful dress that is red carpet worthy, and I couldn't be more nervous.

Of course Sabrina is so excited it's almost scary, and I want to be at ease and carefree as her, but the truth is I can't stop imagining myself tripping down the large staircase at the venue tonight. It's an absolute possibility, considering the fact of my inexperience in high heels and the length of the dress I'll be wearing. My fear of falling is slowly consuming me, but there was no way I'd squeeze out of this. I have to deal with this at the end of the day with a smile on my face and high heels on my feet if it's the last thing I do.

"Are you okay? You look a little queasy." Sabrina nudges me, picking up her curling iron.

"A little nervous." I admit sadly, looking at myself in the mirror.

"You'll be fine. You'll have Colton on your right, and me on your left." she encourages me with a smile.

"I can barely walk in heels." I sigh, throwing my hands in the air. "How am I going to go down those stairs with five inch heels on and I can barely walk in wedges!"

"Look at me, I've been walking in heels the minute I could walk. You and I will get through this, and by 7:30 tonight, you'll be walking like a freaking model on the catwalk." she tells me, pulling me up to my feet.

"Here, these are yours." she hands a pair of heels at me. The cream white heels sparkle in the light and my mouth falls open. They are beautiful admitedly, but that wasn't the only reason my mouth fell open. The shoes are extremely blessed in the height department. The heels seem to be at least 5 1/2 inches tall. My heart starts to race annoyingly and I can feel the heat in my neck, but I take the shoes in my hand anyway.

"First step, put on the shoes." Sabrina crosses her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, yeah, I know that." I say knowingly, placing the heels on my feet. The shoes made me tower over Sabrina, which distracts me, which therefore makes my knees buckle. Sabrina catches me quickly with wide eyes.

"Alright, next step, shoulders back, helps you balance," she pushes my shoulders back slightly,"Make sure your legs are strong so it's not as easy to fall." she instructs me.

I follow each of her instructions until I take that one step that defines how the rest of the night will go. I start slow, but as my adrenaline rushes through me due to the lack of falling, I go faster, maybe too fast. I loose my balance and legs tangle together. I could feel myself falling face first onto the carpet that doesn't seem so soft anymore.

I hit the floor with a thud and a groan. I lay there in defeat, preparing myself to ask Sabrina if can I just wear my converse.

"Don't even ask," she reads my mind, pulling me up,"Practice makes perfect."she pats my back with a smile.

It takes three more falls and thirty more minutes before I was able to walk really slow in my heels. My feet were starting to hurt and the night has yet to begin unfortunately. I slide them off for the rest of the beautification process. Sabrina does my makeup skillfully and quickly, before taking care of herself. Small talk is made as we slide on our beautiful dresses and glamorous masks.

The doorbell rings downstairs, and Sabrina and I glance at each other nervously. We both know that our boy's maybe men, are downstairs most likely chatting with Sebastian at the base of the stairs.

Sabrina takes my hand in hers as we walk to the staircase slowly. It was almost as if we were in a movie as we descend down the stairs. As cliche as it is, it seemed as if Colton's eyes lit up at the sight of me. A blush covers my face when I'm finally within standing distance of him.
