Thank you MutedPeriwinkle for the new amazing cover :)
It's been a whole two months since I've last seen Sebastian naked, and I thank God for it everyday (not that Sebastian is completely repulsive). Although not seeing Sebastian's corn dog could have been the perfect present for this upcoming Christmas, Colton doesn't know that. Therefore, leaving him completely clueless of what to get his girlfriend of 5 months for Christmas.
Yes, I know that Christmas is a very important stage in a relationship. The one holiday that can truly tell you about your partner in crime, soul mate, or lover. It's a break it or make it holiday, and the last thing you want to do is break it. I know all of this, yet I haven't felt the need to get Colton the best present he's ever gotten, so sitting here listening to Sabrina go on and on about all the things Drew loves is exhausting.
"I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but just get him some football tickets and he'll be fine." I shrug, falling on my bed.
"Hey, no need to he a grinch. I have to get the man I love an amazing present or this could be the end for us." she pouts, sitting beside me.
"The end? What if he doesn't give you the most amazing present ever?" I question, catching her off guard. She turns to me, a thoughtful look on her face.
"I'll still love him, it's just a present anyway." she shrugs awkwardly.
"Yeah, so you say." I wink at her playfully, knowing that she was just giving into the semi-importance of giving her boyfriend a good enough Christmas present.
She starts to talk but is cut off by the ringing of her phone. It doesn't take me long to realize that Drew's on the other line. I can tell from the smile on her face and red in her cheeks. The conversation doesn't last long, but it does alter the rest of the day's plans.
"Drew's mom wants to meet me like now. I think she wants to scope me out before she invites me to Christmas dinner. Or maybe not. I don't know. " she stammer nervously, a smile still on her face.
"Okay, then what are you waiting for?" I tease her, opening my door for her.
"You're right, I'll see you later." she grins, giving me a quick hug before leaving.
I hear the front door close in the distance and a few murmured voices, but I ignore it, knowing it's either my sisters, mom, or Sabrina. I fall back on my bed, the exhaustion of listening to Sabrina about Drew really getting to me. I yawn escapes my mouth the minute a knock hits my door.I turn to see my mom, but Colton stands in the doorway with a black sweater and jeans.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask him, sitting up.
"Not a good time?" he questions, hesitantly steeping into my room.
"No, no, it's fine." I shrug, patting the bed. "Come here."
He takes the few steps closer to me and places a kiss on my lips before sitting beside me. Just like the many times before the tingly feeling I get erupts inside of me when he kisses me.
"I saw Sabrina on her way out, she couldn't wait to tell me she was meeting Drew's mom." he laughs, throwing an arm over my shoulder.
"She really likes the kid." I chuckle, putting my head on his shoulders.
"What about me?" he questions, looking down at me.
"What about you?" I grin.
"I've been waiting for a long time now, Belle." he states, moving further away from me.
"I know." I whisper.
"Just answer me please. Do you love me or not?" he looks into my eyes.
"This is so scary." I laugh uncofortably, my hands sweating.
