C H A P T E R 2

Nere POV

  Ana and I were walking to Selorm High School which is a huge and lavish school as one can see just by looking at its walls and serene garden outside. Selorm High is a very prestigious school with many facilities, high-class interior, and strict rules but Selorm High is widely known due to its high academics which also produce famous researchers or something alike.

When we arrived, students were looking at us as if they are eyeing their prey before killing it, well it isn't avoidable as there is a common saying that goes around this school "Put those below in place and worship those above." A saying which shows the hierarchy of the elites of this school or also known as the Royals but we paid no heed as we strut into the school without a care.

Looking at the class schedule that we had just collected from the office we quickly headed to our class.

Unfortunately, Ana has different classes so that means I'm all alone... Yeah, this is great. I walked into class and saw that my teacher was already there but I kept my poker face on while analyzing all the students secretly. The teacher is a tall, dark blonde and slim woman who seems to be in her 30's. Her eyes showed a glimpse of a surprise but it soon vanishes as she motions me to come to her side as she faces the students in the class.

"Okay everyone I guessed that you all should know but this is your new classmate as of today!"

She then signals me to introduce myself.

"Hi everyone, I am Nere and I hope you will take care of me or should I say... Take care of yourselves if you don't want to get hurt that is," I said grinning innocently.

Silence. No responses nor murmuring as all eyes laid on me scanning from head to toe analyzing and taking in my features before breaking into laughter.

"No way, getting hurt by her? Dream on man HAHAHA!"

"No man more like getting blown on is better! Bet she would fly if the wind blew at her! HAHAHA!"

"She is so frail, if she could kill a bug then pigs can fly HAHAHA!"

I look at all these incompetent losers with an empty stare while at the same time noticing an interesting boy who did not act like the rest but instead stared back. Hmm interesting...

The teacher calmed everyone down while shooting them glares but oh well I'm not bothered the slightest by all these pathetic idiots. Besides, they can be killed by me anytime but well your pure angel got to abide by the rules today.

After that huge commotion, the teacher who I now know as Miss Dorris, as one of the boys shouted her name to tell her to hurry up, told me to sit beside the boy who piqued my interest.

Hmmm, this may be an interesting day...

I took my seat beside him as I flashed him a smile as he soon followed suit and smiled back. Miss Dorris is now talking about some not so important stuff but as I zoned out I saw they guy beside me look at me so I turned to face him.

"Hey, name's Alex. How is it here?"

"Pleasure to meet you Alex. Kinda hard to say when this is my first day, but the school is really cool and I hope they sell good food."

"Well yeah...But it is more mysterious than cool, they don't even allow students to enter or remain in school after six..."

Oh that's interesting, I better inform Ana about this maybe she knows about this since analyzing and gaining info is her forte but let's pretend I didn't hear anything.

"Pardon?"

"N-Nothing but hey I was wondering if you want to eat lunch with me?"

I gently nodded my head as he grins and refocuses back on Miss Dorris. Well, I'm pretty sure today is going to be a very interesting day indeed...
