Anastasia's POV

Why do I have to be stuck with all these stuck up pieces of crap students? Honestly, they are starting to piss me off, did they really think they are any better than me...Well, there goes my hope for humanity but I hope Nere is doing well or better, not killing anyone since she might revert to her...

"Hey, you okay there Anastasia? You seem to be feeling unwell. You want to go to the nurse's office?"

"That's okay Leah but I'm fine just a slight headache but all's fine"

"Oh alright, then, tell me if anything's wrong or bothering you okay"

I nodded my head slightly while reverting back to the lesson at hand. That is my tablemate, Leah Shwartson, the next head of her house which has connections to the school since her family contributes a lot, and she is the middle child of her family, but she is a very quiet yet a smart girl who knows her stuff about many things though, the unique thing about her is that she is really good at info gathering. What I'm really confused about is why she is the heir if she has an elder brother.

While simply zoning out from the lesson which I know most of it due to my lessons with Nere who is a child genius who taught me after just learning it by reading advanced level subjects in the library when she moved in with me, I spotted a slight movement in my peripheral vision from the hallway outside and heard some shuffling of footsteps but as I jerked my head there, I could only saw a deep shade of emerald eyes which drew me in before disappearing instantly.

"Okay so that wraps up today's class I hope you all remember to sign those forms I had given and pass it to your class president by tomorrow since I would not be coming alright"

The bell rang and I slowly pack my stuff while rejecting Leah's offer to eat together during lunch since I want to check up on Nere. I sigh and walk out of class, and start to look for her in the hallways of the school which seems confusing at first but I had already memorize the structure and interiors of this school so I easily can find her class, 1A-1.

While walking briskly to her class, I saw many students walking to the cafeteria or just staying in their classroom to eat during lunch. The moment I have reached Nere's class, a guy, blocked my way before I could enter the room and stared down at me.

"What is a small girl like you doing here huh? Do you know this school is for elites right? Well anyway, I find you very appealing so I suggest you follow me since I am a royal or should I say a Knight."

Oh, so this guy is one of the infamous royals, a group of ten people who have gained a status. Everyone must adhere to their orders as it is absolute. Though some say they got the position due to their academics and status and their contributions, as they were handpicked by the headmaster but I have my doubts on that, and here I am trying not to get involved in anything tsk. Furthermore, to think they use their authority like this is disgusting.

"I have to politely decline, as you can see I have no time for people like you...Basically, move out of my way before you get hurt"

He looks amused as his eyes shot open wide as he stared at me while I look at him bored with no hint of emotions present. All of a sudden the atmosphere changed and the usual calm and serene atmosphere was tainted with ominous feeling and bloodlust directed towards me and the culprit was the Knight.

"Hoho I see you got guts to rebel against me considering I am the 10th rank of the royals, The Knight!"

"So? I wish to pass so that I can meet with a friend of mine so I do ask that you do not waste any more of my precious time with your antics."

"Tsk! Stubborn piece of shit...Well if you want to play hard to get then I will play hard to leave so I just have to resort to force ey after all the school won't care...I am a Royal."

Dammit, looks like I won't be able to get past him without trouble but I find it intriguing that he can release that bloodlust and atmosphere that only experienced killers can...Hmmm, this school seems more special than I thought and here I thought that the letter of enrollment was done by my parents but I guess it is a third party that enrolled us here.

"Don't get yourself hurt arrogant second year, or that just might be the end of you."

I sneered at him as I see him get more enraged and since there are no onlookers as it is lunch and there is no one in sight except for a few chattering noises in the classroom so it's fine if he wanted to fight. I could just say it was for self-defense.

He charged at me and took a wooden baton out of his back pocket which shouldn't be there since this is not a fighting school or whatsoever but either way he wields that baton professionally and lunged at me when he was about to strike. I dodged easily and pulled his hand using his momentum so that I can make him lose balance but surprisingly he did not.

"Cheh, you ain't an ordinary student aren't you? I moved fast and not a lot could block me but you did...Say why aren't you in 'it'? Your skills are great even your reflexes."

I simply stared at him and wondered what he meant by joining 'it', but I set that aside and decided to end this quickly as I really want to check on Nere.

I took one step back, stood straight and posture myself perpendicular to the ground as I stare at him preparing an attack that she once taught me. I slowed down my breathing and held a pen in my right hand as I prepared to sprint towards him but as expected, the moment I exposed the sharp tip of the pen his attention was fully directed to only the pen while not even half of his attention is towards me.

I sprinted quickly towards him and the moment I was directly in front of him which took him by surprise, I pushed my pen forward fully ready to impale him which took him by complete surprise. Now his attention is now directed completely to the pen as he stumbles a bit and tried to stop the pen sharp edge from stabbing his face by dodging, so I released the pen and snaked behind him just as he caught the pen and noticed that I was gone, I put my right leg in between both his legs and coil it around his right and pulled back which made him lost his balance as he fell forward and the moment he fell, I sat on top of him while restraining both his arms as he struggled but to no avail.

"Wh-What the hell happened? Ho-How did you appear behind me? And to think you managed to do this...What the hell?!"

When he shouted that, some people came out of the classroom to see a royal pinned down by the new girl but said nothing as they continued to watch silently.

"You should have known if your attention isn't always on the pen or weapon, that technique is a deadly technique given the situation."

I then released my hold on his hand and stood up while glaring at the students making them return to their classroom, I guess this is normal between the Royals and the commoners of this school. I soon took my bag and walk towards the door to call Nere till I heard his voice.

"Tsk this isn't over yet! You better watch out!"

The Royal left while limping and holding his right shoulder. As I walked towards Nere class and was about to call her, she exited and saw me.

"Ana what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be eating lunch?"

"No, I rather wouldn't rather lunch with those rowdy idiots that is my so-called classmates. I just came to check on you and seeing you didn't do anything then it's fine,"

I didn't ask if she had reverted to her or is going to as I saw a handsome male with dark brown hair that looks very soft and dark blue eyes resembling the ocean with a manly face and slightly muscular body.

"Okay, then I'm going to go have lunch with Al-"

"Attention all students, will the two newly enrolled students, Nere Stellia and Anastasia Galewig, please head to the Headmaster's office. Thank you."

An announcement was made as it cut what Nere wanted to say. She looks at me and then sighed before slowly walking towards me.

"I'm really sorry Alex maybe next time we could go eat lunch together?"

"Sure its fine"

His voice sounds very deep and melodic which really soothes the ear.

"Alright let's go."

I lead the way since Nere is utterly hopeless as she did not make a single effort to memorize stuff, which is easy for her unless it piques her interest.

"Nere did you revert or should I say you're already here right, Arellia?"

"Hahaha! Sharp as ever ey Ana? You really can see through me can't you, well before you ask I was in control ever since she stepped a foot in the school and I'm craving."

"What exactly are you craving?"

"Ohoho don't act as if you do not know Ana...Its simple I'm craving murder and I could have gotten that boy if only that stupid announcement and you didn't interfere hmph!"

"Tsk so troublesome...Anyways don't make too much trouble considering you're like this, please do change"

"Hahah! I'll try my best Ana..."
