Darkness Awaits~

Chapter 9

(Nagai's POV)

Me and the other 5 bought our tickets and boarded the train. we only had one problem and i was the only one who knew about it: Yama, my best friend that i grew up with, Has a pretty bad case of motion sickness. i laid at the back of the group and pulled Imari back. "Hey Immie?" Imari raised an eyebrow at me, she wasnt one to talk much. i've actually never heard her voice. but she has been known to only talk to Lida and that one girl with the long brown hair. she hangs out with one of those twins... i think his name is jake or something. 

"Could you do a Prince a favor? I know it's a lot to ask but Yama has severe motion sickness and i was wondering if you could...um maybe use that magic you study to maybe put him to sleep or something?" Imari turned to face me and crossed her arms. "I can use magic to do anything and you want me to just put him to sleep? i could make him be able to withstand the ride there. but if you want him to sleep the whole ride just punch him in the nose." i looked at her shocked. not only did she just tell me to punch my bro Yama, but she actually just spoke to me. "Y-yeah... if you could make him withstand it that'd be nice..." she scoffed and turned away. I just noticed her eyes. I always look people in the eyes when i talk to them. her eyes were such a faint blue they almost looked grey, and Lifeless. i sat down by my sister. i would have sat by Yama but he brought his girlfriend with us, who happened to be Imari's twin sister. though their personalities are the complete Opposite. Imari was quiet, feirce, and keeps to herself a lot. Clair, her twin, was bubbly like Lida, sweet, and open. Imari sat in front of Yama and Clair with Hirai sitting beside her.  Clair was leaning on Yama's arm with her arms wrapped around him. Imari looked up and her eyes glowed, she was mumbling the spell to help Yama with his motion sickness. the Train started moving and Yama tensed up to prepare for the motion sickness but looked confused, "The hell? usually i can't ride any Vechicle cause of my-" "Yor welcome." Imari had her arms crossed and her eyes closed. Clair smiled "Thanks sis!" Imari scoffed "It want meant for either of you. i only did it cause a certain prince asked me to." yama looked over at me and i gave him a thumbs up and he smiled. Lida smirked. "Since when do you listen to anyoneImari? do you like Nai?~" Imari growled "I don't believe in love." Hirai's expression changed from serious to depressed after that sentence. "H? you okay?" he nodded "Yes. I am fine."  Imari seemed lost in her thoughts for the rest of the ride. Clair and Yama fell asleep on each other. Lida seemed lost in the beauty of the country as we passed by. Hirai also seemed lost in thought. but now something about him was off. he was fiddling with his locket. He wouldn't ever let anyone see what was insde the locket. not even imari, but whenever he opened it whatever he had inside always made him smile.

We arrived at Draycott and got off the train. Lida pulled out a map from her purse and examined it. she started walking and we all followed, looking around the town that i had seen plenty of times, this was the country i was to rule one day after all. but the others beside Lida looked amazed. they had never been out of Damerel before i guess. well except Imari, she left Darmerel often for her studies of magic.

 We stood in front of a large, gloomy building surrounded almost entirly by the border of sakura trees. "I don't trust this anymore." Imari glared at the building. "C'mon Immie be more positive! it probably only looks gloomy cause it'd surounded by such beautiful, bright trees." "Fine but when things go bad don't say i didn't tell you so." we went to walk through the front door but were stopped by a woman with a blue ponytail. "Ah! Princess! oh and your highness." she bowed, when she stood up she looked back at clair and glared at her. "Who is this? we said 5 and that is all we need." Imari growled, she was older, not by much, but she was still over protective of all her siblings. "She's my sister and the red hoodie boy's girlfrind." "Ooooh! well since she didn't sign up she'll have to come with me. if you go through the front doors and turn left Nurse Marina will be there waiting to escort you to doctor Nathan's office." she smiled but something didnt seem right. i shook it off, deciding it was probably nothing. we all walked inside, following the directions we were given.
