Chapter 8

(Lida's POV) 

I called Imari and Yama to tell them about the paper i got from that woman. they agreed to go with me and Imari got Hirai to go with us. now all i have to do is talk to Nagai about it. I just hope that he doesn't get mad that their wanting to do research on the illness after someone died from it. I walked hesitantly to his room and knocked on his door "Nai? It's Lida... I have something to give you." I heard my brother groan out of annoyance and soon the door opened. "What is it Li?" I smiled and handed him the paper "Imari, Hirai, Yama, and I are going, we were hoping you'd go with since we all meet the requiements." A grin spread across my brother's face for the first time in a few weeks. I'll be honest i thought he'd be mad. "Their finding a cure for it?" 

Well now that i think about it, Nagai is a selfless person sometimes.he's probably taking this as a way to prevent people from feeling his pain.

Nagai pulled me into a tight hug. No one could ever resist his hugs. I hesitantly wrapped my arm around him to return the hug. "We leave in a couple days, The lab is two towns over." "You mean Draycott?" I nodded. Draycott is a nice little town known for the sakura trees that surround it. Ngai nodded to show he understood. "I'll begin packing and Alert the court that we'll be leaving." I rolled my eyes " That king training of yours is getting to your head." "Well i am the next in line. i have to be responsible to lead this entire country." "Just have some fun every once in a while. okay?" he chuckled "Of course, Sis" I turned my back and walked to my room, closing the door and packing a few things to take with me on our trip to Draycott.
