(Imari's POV)
I sat in my.... Chamber? We had been seperated from each other and now there was no hope... Their plan to mutate us was now going through. We had been sealed away from each other in these rooms where we were held in these expierment tubes, drowning in this substance... Yet not. But something was off with me today... Its like i have new muscules. I don't know what they did but now theres a new weight on my back. And the magic that I had taught myself, my magic energy, it felt stronger... I stayed there in my tube. Its not like i could go anywhere else for god's sake. I heard an
Alarm go off, then there was the smell of smoke.
Oh god there's a fire and I'm stuck in here...
I put my hands on the glass, pounding, trying to break it even though i knew it was pointless. Soon the door burned down and heard screams of the scientist holding me here. I felt a fimilar presence. Magic. Warmth. Soon Nagai ran into the room.Something was different though. He was wearing a ripped grey tank top and jeans... And wings.... Black, feathery wings. Soon the other 3 ran in as well and stared at me "MARI!" Hirai ran up to my tube and i raised an eyebrow. I felt stupid, obviously i was the only one who didnt ha e a clue to whats going on. I saw Nagai say something to hirai and shoved him back. Nagai looked at me and put his hand on the glass of my tube, the glass started melting at his touch. My eyes grew wide and i backed up as far as i could go; which wasnt far. Nagai made a hole big enough for me to climb through and he backed up. I took that as my que to escape. I climbed out and jumped down to the others. "Okay, Nagai WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" Nagai looked over at me "We all have magic now. Its weird i know, but acording to the scientists we've been turned into those tortured angels you told us about."
