Darkness Awaits~

Chapter 12

 (Nagai's POV)

We all sat against the walls of this prison keeping us in. I'm not sure exactly but I know it'd been at least a year... maybe more? none of us talk anymore seeing as anything we say could earn punishment with the damn camera in the room. I've learned to cope with the experiments since I have to take the most abuse. Sometimes if I get bored I can use the stray bars to work out. the other's have said that I look stronger, which is exactly what I want. and Imari was right, they've almost completely changed our appearances... they said me and lida still looked like twins but now both of our hair was pink from the chemicals. Imari was forced to take 3 doses of the chemical that changed our hair and now her hair is an ombre from light blue to dark, navy blue. Yama's is now silver, but Hirai seems immune to all the chemicals, the only change in him is that his hair is longer and his a bit skinnier. Lida's eyes are now purple, Imari's good eye is now pink, Yama's eyes just became a neon green,  and I've been told mine are orange. and again, Hirai's are still a deep blue. my arms are now covered in scars and wounds from the experiments since I've gotten stronger I've been fighting back more, I managed to break one of the bounds on the table, but I was still pinned down and received punishment. I sat there in our cell, Yama was standing near the door listening to the scientists and what they plan to do to us. "G-guys..." we all looked over at him. "Their gonna kill us.... their gonna do something with souls that's supposed to kill any human being..." we all went wide-eyed and Imari stood up, she walked over and listened for herself, shoving Yama out of her way. she stood up straight and crossed her arms. "They going to combine our body and souls with some kind of soul that might kill us, yes, but it's more believed that the soul will leave and we'll be stuck with song kind of different form that won't allow us to go back to our normal lives... I've heard about this before but I can't remember where..." Hirai raised an eyebrow "That sounds like what you told me about tortured angels." Imari's eyes lit up. "Oh shit... they're making us into tortured angels...." "I thought those things were extinct?" "They are, but these scientists are obviously trying to bring them back..."
