Greece

When the front door opened she openly displayed a smile on her face thinking Allegro would have appeared. She had missed him more than she'd like to admit and wanted to be wrapped up in his arms. Only, the man that entered was the last of the brothers she hadn't met, Alejandro. He was just as tall as Allegro but his face seemed to have a permanent scowl to it and that scowl deepened as his eyes set on her.

They were visibly grey and pretty but unlike Allegro's blue ones that she loved to stare at his, were cold and made her nervous.
"So you're the woman Allegro seems to think is a good idea to bring home?" His tone was harsh.
She gulped, "I'm Greece."
He scoffed, "I know you're name."

"Women aren't allowed on this compound, there can be no distractions."
"And you—" he jabbed a finger at her, "Are a big distraction for my brother."
"We have this rule you see Greece, only certain people are allowed on the compound, people especially women who are brought here, are only brought here if they're meant to stay, like family. So imagine my displeasure when my brother brings you here with the intent to keep you safe."

Greece sucked in breath, if what she understood from their rule was true, then Allegro wanted her to stay. He wanted her here with him, but Alejandro didn't look to happy about that.
"My brother thinks he can protect you and I don't doubt he can but at what cost? Do you really want his men to die because of you?"
Greece looked away, she couldn't be selfish, she knew that but she didn't want to leave him—

"And what if something were to happen to him because of you?" He glowered at her.
Greece flinched at the image of Allegro being hurt and looked down at her hands.
"So you want me to leave?"
Alejandro crossed his arms, "I'll give you money and a car."
Greece forced herself to look at him and nodded, "Fine."

It was naive of her to believe that she could just let Allegro handle her own problems. She had to deal with Kazer and his goons herself, Allegro was not entitled to have to deal with her shit. She stood up and quickly ran up to Allegro's room. Packing a small bag consisting of two of his t-shirts and sweats pants, she found Alejandro waiting by the door with car keys and an envelope in his hand.

He handed them to her and nodded his head, "Nice meeting you Greece." She snatched to car keys, dick.
She got into the car, a Toyota by far a cheaper car than the ones they had parked in their garage. She turned the engine on and two guards opened the gate and she was out.
She couldn't help but think about Allegro... how Allegro was going to react, was he going to miss her? Would he be relieved?

Would he look for her? Would he beat up Alejandro? Greece sighed, as the ache in her heart continued and she shook her head, how could she possibly feel this way? A few times she was tempted to turn around and drive in search of Allegro. But her heart told her that she couldn't be selfish and put him at risk. She knew that Alejandro just wanted the best for his family and that didn't include a girl with problems with her abusive ex.

As the sun began to set she drove in search of a motel to stay at and found one shortly after. Getting a vacant room, Greece sighed, bringing one of Allegro's shirts to her nose she sniffed it, his smell making her relax a bit. She curled up in her bed with his shirt tucked against her chest and slowly drifted off the sleep.

When she awoke she was in desperate need of food as her stomach growled. Raising up her shirt to check her stomach again , she noticed the bruises were starting to fade thanks the ointment Allegro had made her apply, and there he was again on her mind. She let a lone tear fall, maybe after her shit was fixed, she would see him again. Maybe he'd even still want her.
He wanted her right, or was she reading into his kindness too carefully?

She shook her head, grabbing a few bills and walking towards a bar she saw close to her motel.
She sat on a stool with eyes trained at the door, her senses alerted because she knew Kazer was out there and looking for her. She knew the only way this was going to end was if one of them were dead. Greece suddenly felt a chill run over her body.

Could she do it? Could she take her life?

She downed the glass of Hennessy in front of her but then realized that she couldn't, for reason the want or need to see Allegro again was far greater than the fear she had of meeting Kazer again. Greece bit her lip wondering of her feelings for him were returned. She sighed, well she'll never know now.
