Greece

Greece woke up the next morning with a mild headache and nothing to relieve it with. She let out a shaky breath and headed to the shower and changed into another one of Allegro's shirts and pants. She sniffed the shirt and sighed, a painful feeling taking over in her chest. It had only been two days since she'd been gone and she was having withdrawal symptoms.

Shaking her head at her behavior she played with her phone and soon again she was asleep. When she woke up again outside was dark and stomach rumbled. She was hungry. Grabbing a few dollar bills she walked out of the room and walked towards a diner. The place had a few customers who were either sitting at a table or playing pool in the corner of the room. The waitress smiled at her, "Table for one?" Greece nodded.

She sat down and looked over the menu, deciding on a sandwich and a bottle of water, the waitress left. She scanned the room, seeing as their was no immediate threat, the tension in her shoulders relaxed and she slowed down her breathing. Suddenly the waitress returned, standing in front of her with a friendly smile to her face. The woman had a few years on Greece and with her brown hair tied back could be no more than forty-five.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing out here all alone?" Her voice was smooth like butter.
Greece just showed her a small smile, "Just wanted something to eat."
The woman, whose name tag said Jane pursed her lips, "You in some sort of trouble?"
Greece grew tense again, "Is my food ready?" She asked cooly.

Getting the hint, Jane nodded, "I'll check on that for you."
Greece nodded a thanks and straightened in her seat, turning her head to get a better look at the people around her. Jane came back with her food and laid it in front of her, "Miss," Jane began, "Is your name Greece?"
Greece's eyes widened, "I.. um..."

Jane lowered her voice, "There were three men in here before showing your picture around."
She gulped, "They looked shady, they didn't seem to be staying in town, left as soon as they realized you weren't here, but they looked serious honey."
Greece's fingers trembled, "Do you have a safe place to stay?"
She nodded, "For now."

Jane nodded, "You should leave tomorrow, head North."
Greece nodded, "If you need anything I have a contact in the bar across the street. He'll get you clothes, money, a new ID."
Greece smiled, "Why are you helping me?"
Jane smiled, "Go the bar and ask for Travis, tell him Jane sent you."

Greece nodded, picking up her sandwich and water, when Jane left with a wink Greece wasted no time in walking straight towards the bar. As she entered, she could feel tense stares from drunk men as her small crisp steps made their way to the bar.
"Can I talk to Travis?" She asked the burly man in front of her.
He looked her up and down before nodding, "He's in the back I'll get him for ya."

She sat down on the stool with more of a relaxed posture as someone pulled up beside her. He reeled of beer and marijuana and Greece inwardly gagged.
"Baby, what are ya doing all alone?"
She chose to ignore him, "C'mon the silent treatment..." he slurred, "Don't do that, let's chat."
He placed an arm around her shoulder and leaned towards her.

Uncomfortable she tried to slip away before a voice spoke up, "C'mon Mac leave the girl alone!" Greece looked up to see a young man.
"Travis." He outstretched his hand.
Greece nodded not wanting to say her name, "Jane sent me."
His eyes widened as he looked at her again, an understanding overtaking him.

"What do you need?" He said as he came out from behind the bar.
"Joe take over from me for a minutes I'll be back soon." He yelled to the back.
He came and took a seat beside her, "anything you can give me."
He nodded, "How fast do you want to be gone?"
"Tomorrow morning."

"How much money..."
"I have money." She said quickly.
"ID and clothes."
Travis nodded, his brown eyes suddenly met hers and softened, "How much trouble you in?"
She shrugged, "Enough."

He nodded placing a hand on hers, she appreciated the gesture but took her hand away, and just in time too as she whipped around to face furious blue eyes.
