Allegro

Allegro saw to it that she was given everything her heart desired and when she seemed comfortable he led her back to his room and she sat down on the edge of the bed twiddling with her fingers. He could tell she was nervous so he stood in front of her with a gently expression on his face, he didn't want to force her to tell him anything but he needed to know what or who he was up against. Did this guy have resources? Men? Money? He just couldn't sit in the dark when he promised himself and Greece that he'd protect her.

"I don't want to force you mio amore, but—"
She nodded understanding, "It's alright."
She sighed, "Kazer, was my ex, I met him when I was 21 that was two years ago. The first year of our relationship as all of them tend to be was nice, I was happy. But the second year, Kazer get into league with a bunch of drug addicts and as a means to make money decided to start his own," she paused, "Drug cartel."
She shook her head, "It was nothing at first a few buyers here and there,"

"With the added stress I guess he started drinking, you know pushing me around, that sort of thing."
She looked away, "He got violent on multiple occasions and then I couldn't take it anymore I left." She shrugged, "He has a few men to his backing but not a whole army, but I do know he wants me back."
Allegro nodded, he knew she'd left out all the gory details but when she was ready she'd tell him the rest, all he needed right now was to understand his enemy.

"Can you say how many men he has under him exactly?"
Greece thought for a moment, "A littles less than fifty,"
Allegro nodded, "Where were you planning on running too?" He asked, "After he found you?"
She shrugged, "I was planning to go South."
Allegro nodded, "Your family?"

He saw her eyes shift to the floor, "I'm not on speaking terms with my parents."
"Siblings?" She shook her head, "I'm an only child."
Her glassy blue eyes found his and she suddenly lifted her lips up in a smile, "I honestly can't thank you enough for letting me stay here."
Allegro smiled, they didn't just let anyone stay here, and all of his men knew that, only family stayed at the Martini residence but that fact he didn't feel the need to tell her just yet.

"It's really not a problem," suddenly he checked his watch and sighed.
"I'm sorry mio amore, I must be going."
Suddenly something overcame her features when she nodded sadly, "Okay, will you be long?"
He felt as his heart had chipped a piece at her question, she wanted him to stay with her, "I'll be back in at least an hour."
She nodded, a small smile gracing her lips as he brushed his hand against her cheek.

Allegro left with a heavy feeling in his heart as he met his brother's out front.
"How's our lovely girl?" Alessando asked smirking.
Allegro shot daggers at him, "It's not our, we're not sharing."
He chuckled lightly, "Oh c'mon Allegro.... where's the fun in that!"
He tightened his fist as an unknown anger overtook him, "Don't lay a hand on her ever! You hear me!"

Alessando raised his eyebrows and smirked at his brother, "Possessive aren't we..."
Arturo shook his head, "I suggest you take Allegro seriously fratello before you get shot in the arm."
He looked between his two brother's before furrowing his eyebrows, "Where is Alejandro?"
Arturo spoke up, "I haven't seen him all morning,"
Alessando shrugged, "Here he comes."

At that Allegro turned to see his second in command making his way towards them. He nodded his head as a greeting and held Allegro's gaze for a moment, following his arrival both men separated into two cars, Allegro and Alejandro in one and Arturo and Alessando in the other. Allegro's grip on the steering wheel tightened as he could sense the oncoming conversation with his brother.
"You brought a woman back to the house"

Allegro nodded, "You do know that's against the rules?"
Allegro furrowed his eyebrows, "Unless she stays."
Allegro could tell Alejandro was shocked, "You're keeping her?"
Allegro nodded, there was no way he was letting her go now, "She's in danger."
Alejandro scoffed, "So you thought having her problems brought to our door was a good idea?"

"I couldn't possible leave her!"
"We don't pick up strays off the street Allegro!" Alejandro snapped.
"Say another word about her, I dare you!" He challenged.
Alejandro scoffed, "Having a woman makes everything complicated. We don't need a weakness."
Allegro ignored him, there was no way he was sending Greece back out into the street when she was in serious danger.

"I'm going to keep her safe."
Allegro saw Alejandro frown but he kept his mouth shot knowing better than to argue anymore with him.
