I flew out the other side and braced myself, but I didn't hit solid ground. I just kept falling.

I looked around. I was falling through thin air, about 100 yards above ground. I screamed at the top of my lungs, not really knowing what else to do.

Then I spotted the small lake. It seemed way to small to land in, but I had to try. I tilted my body towards it, and I was making progress quickly. However, the ground was rising fast. Just as I reached a spot above the pool, I slammed into it feet first.

Searing pain flooded my body. I couldn't move my legs or feel anything but pain in them. The pain was unbearable, and I was sinking, drowning in the small pond. I fought the urge to pass out, and I focused on what was important right now. I slowly crawled, using my hands only, to the edge of the pool. I was almost there, but I was out of air. I was about to give up, but I used the last of my strength to push off one last time. It proved to be enough, and my head flew burst out of the water, and I flew onto the shore. I gasped for air, and that lasted a few minutes. Then I remembered my legs, and the pain returned once again. I screamed and pleaded and yelled for help, but none came. I decided to take a peek at my legs. I screamed and a fresh wave of pain and terror sank in.

My legs were bent the wrong way, and zig zagged, like lightning bolts. They were definitely shattered.

I screamed on last time, then gave in to darkness.
