I awoke on a cold, hard ground in a bright room. The light was so bright, in fact, that I had to cover my eyes. When I finally adjusted to it, I noticed that it was a piece of glow stone. I looked at the blue ground. Diamond blocks. Herobrine really knows how to show off.
I looked at the far wall. There were DIAMOND bars, and a main hallway beyond them. Across from my cell was another with a skeleton in it. I tried not to notice how small the skeleton was.
Behind me were 2 blocks of wood, made like a bed. Then there were 3 blocks of stone, made to look like a sink, and an iron block toilet. And hanging just out of reach beyond the bars was a diamond pickaxe.
So he was trying to be funny. I murmured "Yeah, so funny".
I turned to my bed and destroyed it with my fists. I made a stick, and stuck it through the bars. It was bent slightly, so it was easier to hook the pick onto the stick and pull it into the cell.
That was easy. Too easy. I looked at the bars and hit them with the pick. An electrical shock sent me flying to the back of the room. Oh.
I looked at the floor and started to mine. After the first layer of diamond, it became stone. I jumped in my small pit and started to dig. After twenty minutes, I was still going down. My arms were tired, and I was hot. Really hot.
Then, as I broke a block of stone under me, I fell. And fell. Red blocks and lava rushed past me. I blindly reached my pick out, hoping for it to snag on something. And it did. And my arm almost dislocated. While it got stuck in a rock, I started swinging and eventually let go. I flew up and landed on top of the red rock. I looked around.
I was in the Nether.
I kept searching until I finally found it. A Nether portal was sitting about 300 yards away, just waiting for someone to hop in it. I started running and slipped. I tumbled down and down a steep hill. Eventually I saw a cliff ahead of me and a lava river below it. A rock was sticking out of the ground in front of the ravine. I stuck my hands out and caught onto it. My whole body felt broken, but I was alive. I stood up but then dropped to the ground. A sharp flaming piece of nether rack flew past me. I looked up at the flaming stalagmites on the ceiling of the Nether, being cautious of more falling burny things. Seeing none, I walked to the cliff.
Total Déjà Vu.
