I don't mind ads. They are mostly okay and keep sites going.
My problem is mostly with YouTube. Not because they run 50 million ads every second, but because of the five second ads. I need to have the skip button. Make the damn ad skippable for the sake of my god damn sanity. I need to have the ability to say "Ha, yes, I can skip you when I want. I am in control." Please YouTube, help me keep my fragile confidence afloat and allow me to skip the video after five seconds. Make the ads several minutes long, but please just let me skip it!
Sometimes I watch most of the ad and suddenly "skip" drive kicks in and I click that button faster than hyperdrive.
