The Assassin Is A Baker! (Kotetsu x Male Reader!)

Saturday (Part 2)

(M/N)'s POV
"You gotta be kidding me!" I yelled to myself in the car. I've been stuck in traffic for an hour already. It's currently 5:30 PM and I have barely moved.

"C'mon already!! I'm going to be late!"

'Maybe I should have just flew over there' I thought sighing.

'But if I flew over there Kotetsu would probably become suspicious of how I got thereeeeeeughhhh'

I should call him ahead of time and let him know I'm going to be late.

As I was picking up my phone I noticed a sudden call coming in from the boss. Confused by this sudden action I picked it up.

"Hel-

"(M/N) You have to come quickly! One of the newbies I hired ended up being followed by the super heroes! You have to come get me before it's too late!"

I heard a sudden explosion come from the other line of the phone and then it went silent.

"Dang it, welp I'm sure he'll understand why I'm late."

Timeskip from leaving your car who knows where.

As I arrived to the scene I noticed that HeroTV was already there broadcasting everything. The building was on fire and I could see the henchmen running out trying to escape.

I could see all the famous heroes except the guy in the green robot suit. It seemed like he was the only one missing. I could see his partner running after the henchmen and successfully rounding them up.

Upon closer inspection of his captures, I could see that the boss was no where to be seen in the group.

'He must still be in the building somewhere, I'm going to have to be careful when I'm sneaking in.'

Nearing the building I successfully went in unnoticed and the search began.

'He must be in the underground bunker'

Flying down the set of stairs I could see the fire starting to die down and ice forming.

'I have to hurry before they come in'

Quickening my pace I finally found the bunker but it was covered in flames. Focusing my energy I bended the water in my bag and began to extinguish the fire. Once I finished I walked in the bunker to find the boss in the arms of the green suit hero.

"Hey! You're the guy from the mansion!"

I began laughing as I recalled myself shutting the door in his face twice. But then stopped as I realized my boss was watching.

In a quick motion I ran over and took the boss from his hands. Realizing I had taken the man away from him he moved quickly to try and hit me. Moving out of the way I delivered a strong kick to his stomach that sent him stumbling back into the wall. Noticing the big shelf next to him I slammed it down onto him.

Grabbing the boss with my powers I quickly flew back up the set of stairs. Only to hear a loud clang come from the bunker. Knowing he was coming I began to fly faster. As I was nearing the exit of the stairs the green suited hero suddenly emerged from the ground. I threw the boss to the top of the stairs and nodded my head to him as he turned around and ran away. Turning back to the hero I noticed he was glowing a bright blue color and suddenly his body was on top of mine, his knee was digging into my back and his hands were holding my arms down.

"I can't let you leave." He said as he wrapped some kind of wire around my wrists and legs.

"There we go, now you won't be able to go anywhere." He told me laughing lightly.

Suddenly, his little mask opened up allowing me to see part of his face but not completely because of his other mask underneath.

"Now, who are you and what were you doing at the other mansion?" He asked turning me around to face him.

For some odd reason he seemed really familiar to me but I could not tell who. I continued to stare at him with a concentrated look trying to figure it out but came up with nothing.

When I said nothing he sighed and picked me up. All of a sudden an explosion came from above and the roof began to collapse. The hero then began running down the steps back to the bunker to avoid getting crushed. Once everything cleared up the whole stair case was full of the fallen roof. It was really dark in the bunker, our only source of light was a flickering light that had been partially damaged.

"Can you put me down now, I can't go anywhere." I said slightly flustered over him holding me so closely.

He looked at me for a while before finally responding.

"Oh uhm, yeah, sorry about that." He said clearing his throat and putting me down.

As he went to go look at the damage, I grabbed my emergency knife from my shoes and began cutting the wire.

'I need to get away.' I thought cutting quickly.

Just as I finished cutting my hands and legs free he turned around as if to say something. However before he could speak I lunged myself at him.

"Wait wait wait!" He shouted dodging me.

"What?" I asked slightly annoyed that I got interrupted.

"Shouldn't we get out of here first?"

Looking at our surroundings I decided that was probably the best thing to do.

"Alright, but how are we going to escape? In case you haven't noticed, we can't leave the way we came."

The hero suddenly smirked at me and turned around.

"Don't worry, the hero will save the day." He said crouching down to jump through the bunker to the top. But just as he reached the roof of the bunker he stopped glowing blue and smacked hard into the roof and slammed right back down on his face.

I couldn't help but start laughing. The way his body just slammed into everything was so funny to me I fell yo the floor holding my stomach. Once my laughter stopped I realized that he had not gotten up. Walking over there I noticed that he was bleeding. Panicking slightly I turned him around to see that he was bleeding from his nose.

'He must have fell on his nose.' I thought wincing slightly.

'Oh well, not my problem I thought walking away.'

But my mind kept telling me otherwise.

'Help him.... He saved you from getting crushed'

Sighing to myself I walked back over to him and examined his nose a little bit.

Luckily I usually bring medical equipment and I have my water to help heal him.

Going in my pocket I pulled out a little towel and began wiping away the blood. Once I cleaned it I grabbed my water satchel and began healing his nose. After that I patched his nose and decided to see if he had other injuries.

I'm pretty sure he had a concussion. Upon further inspection I noticed a button on his suit. Pressing it opened his suit immediately and I began to heal the rest of his body.

Once I finished I took my hood and placed it over him. I moved away and waited for him to wake up.

For now we were trapped.
