Chapter 8

Felix's Pov:

Felix was walking down the hall when he saw a wallet on the floor. Well, I don't think it'll hurt to look inside to figure out who's it is. Felix picked it up and opened it. Inside, there was a picture of the familiar black and white rabbit, Oswald. He was standing next to a girl cat Felix didn't know. Who's she? Oswald has a girlfriend then? It didn't surprise him, after all, Oswald was very handsome. From his dark blue eyes, to his messy hair... Everything was amazing. Felix shook his head vigorously. What the hell?! He's my friend, why am I describing him as handsome and amazing?! Quickly, Felix put the wallet in his back pocket. "I'll give it to him at lunch."

After two agonizing classes, lunch arrived. Felix got his lunch and went to where Sheba was. "Hey, Sheba. Would it be okay if we sat with Bendy and Cuphead? I want to introduce you." Sheba shook her head and smiled. "Oh, alright, Fluff Ball." She stood up with her tray and followed Felix to where Bendy and Cuphead were sitting. "Hey, Bendy! Mind if we sit with you?" Bendy looked up at Felix and smiled. "Of course, Felix!" So, they sat. Felix exchanged introductions. "Hey, I believe you know my brother. His name's Boris?" Sheba nodded. "Yep, Bendy-Boy. I know 'em. We met yesterday during math. He's a real sweet boy. You got a good one there." Just then, Oswald plopped down next to Felix. "Hey, Fel. I miss anything?" Felix shook his head, then remembered the wallet. "Oh, Oswald! I found something that belongs to you." Felix took the wallet out of his pocket. "Oh, thanks, Fel! I thought I lost it!" Oswald took the wallet from Felix. "Who is she?" Oswald jumped. "Who's who?" "The girl cat in the picture." Felix responded."Oh... Yeah, she was my girlfriend." Oswald looked away. "Was?" "She, um... She... She got sick, about a year ago... It just kept getting worse... Then..." Felix was getting concerned. "Then?" Oswald looked at Felix. He had tears in his eyes. "Then, she died... I haven't dated since. She was the only one I ever loved. Her name was Ortensia. You look a lot like her, actually... That's how I ended up saving you from that bully... I thought... I thought you were her at first..." Felix felt awful. "I-I'm sorry... You're not the only one who's lost some one... I mean I know you know that, but... I lost someone too."

Oswald's Pov:

 "... I lost someone too." Felix ended. This shocked Oswald. "Who did you lose?" Oswald asked. "My, um... My parents, actually... They died in a car wreck when I was six. After they died, I was sent to an orphanage... It was two years before Sheba's dad found and adopted me..." Oswald looked over at Sheba. "But, I thought..." Sheba smiled gently. "Yeah, me and Felix are that close." Oswald turned back to Felix. His ears were down and there were tears streaming down his face. "I-I  had no right to ask y-you-" Oswald jumped on Felix and hugged him, cutting him off. "Fel, don't apologize... I needed to tell someone. Only three people knew before I met you. My mom, dad, and my brother. I needed my friends to know... But, most of all... I needed you to know..."
