Thinking With My heart (Jock Cuphead x Nerd Bendy)

Chapter 22

Boris's Pov:

Boris was hit in the face with the light cord, when they reached the bottom of the stairs. Boris grabbed it and tugged it. Imediately, the room was illuminated. "Ugh... Since when- Cuphead?! Boris?!" Everyone gasped. there, in the center of the room, were Mugman and Bendy. Their wrists and ankles were bound to the chairs they sat on. Their faces were bloodied and pale, Bendy's body was wrecked. "BENDY!" Boris screamed and shot forward to his injured brother. Boris wrapped his arms around Bendy. "AGH! Boris, my wounds... Mind the wounds.." Boris stepped away. "S-sorry." Then, Boris grabbed a knife that was on a small table next to Bendy's chair. Carefully, he undid Bendy's bounds. Then, he was free. Bendy wrapped his arms around Boris, careful to not hurt himself. "H-hey, Cups... Hey, Boris." Mugman said after Cuphead had undone his bounds. Then, Mugman hugged Cuphead. Instead of his usual 'Get off, dork', Cuphead tightened the embrace. "Oh god, Mugs... I thought you were gonna be gone forever." Mugman laughed, then gripped his side in pain. "You okay, Mugs?" Cuphead asked, obviously concerned. "Yeah, just some minor brusing... If anyone should be concerned about anybody, it's you guys about Bendy. You don't want to know the awful things he did to Bendy." Mugman said, lookig at the wreaked demon. Instead of insisting he was fine, Bendy nodded. "To be honest, I'm certain I need medical attention. I mean, look at me! I look like I was put in a blender." Bendy said, trying to lighten the situation. Mugman laughed an icy laugh. "I think a blender would've been better. After seeing what he did to you... It makes what he did to me seem like a picnic." Cuphead looked back and forth between the two. "Wow... You two have really changed."

Bendy's Pov:

Bendy smiled weakly at Cuphead. "You have no idea..." Felix and Oswald walked over to where the rest were. "Oh god... Bendy..." Felix looked like he was going to cry. Oswald gently put a hand on his shoulder. "Who did this to you?" Oswald asked firmly. Both Bendy and Mugman answered at the same time. "Kenny Grouse." Boris gasped. "N-no... He's my friend, he wouldn't-" "You're friends with that asshole?!" Oswald all but screamed at Boris. "Leave him a- AGH! Dammit!" Bendy had started to object, but firey pain stopped him. Bendy hacked and blood spilled out of his mouth, dripping down his neck and chest. Finally, the pain and blood stopped. "Oh my god... Bendy, you okay?" Boris asked, obviously afraid to move. Bendy nodded, wiping the bllo from his mouth. In doing that, he revealed the deep gashes caused by Kenny's mace. "God, Bends! He won't get away with what he did to you guys. I promise." Cuphead said. "Come on. Let's get out of here." Oswald said. "Can you walk, Mugs?" Cuphead asked, concerned. Mugman nodded, then stood and walked a few paces to prove it. "How 'bout you, Bends?" Bendy stood up and took one step. Imediately, he fell in a heap on the floor. Boris carefully picked Bendy up and turned to leave. Unfortunately, there was a certain tall wolf standing at the foot of the stairs. "What the hell?" Kenny said, shock in his eyes. "Kenny..." Boris said, trying to beleive it was true. "Why did you kidnap my brother and my... Why?" Kenny looked from toon to toon, looking for an excuse. Finally, he shook his head. "You have no idea what it's like without a family... You were the first and only person who cared about me. Your boyfriend and brother didn't. They were both trying to push you away from me... I just couldn't let that happen. To be honest, I'm surprised they stayed alive this long." Boris let a low growl out, obviously not pleased.
