Chapter 14

Boris's Pov:

"Mugs! Mugman! Please answer me!" Boris called out for the fifteenth time. "Boris, I don't think he's here. Perhaps if we tried-" Mrs. Sheryl started. "WE CAN'T GIVE UP! HE HAS TO BE HERE!" Boris all but screamed. Mrs. Sheryl took a step away from the wolf. "Boris," She said gently. "I'm not saying we give up. No, we can't. What I'm saying is we try somewhere else. We've searched every inch of the house and yard." Boris looked at her and tears began streaming down his face. Dammit! I can't cry in front of a teacher! Especially not Mrs. Sheryl! Suddenly, arms were wrapped around him. "Shh... It'll be okay, honey. We'll find him, I promise." Mrs. Sheryl said gently. "I-I'm sorry... I just- I... I don't wanna lose him..." Mrs. Sheryl gently pushed him away from her. She placed a hand on Boris's cheek, wiping a tear away. "Damn- Oops, I should say things like that!" Boris chuckled. Mrs. Sheryl smiled sadly. "Ever since the accident, you boys haven't been the same... I wish I had known. I would've helped... Maybe, then she would've lived. Maybe Bendy wouldn't have...." Her voice trailed off. Boris smiled. "Mrs. Sheryl... What happened to Mom wasn't your fault. Nor was what Bendy did to himself. But, you can make a difference here. We have to find Mugman." Mrs. Sheryl nodded. Quickly, they made their way down the street, calling for Mugman as they went.

Cuphead's Pov:

"Mugs! Mugman! I swear, if this is a joke, you are so dead!" Cuphead yelled out, hoping he sounded angry. Damn, I'm so worried. I never thought I'd be this concerned about my brother. "Any luck, Cuppy?" Cuphead looked down at Bendy. He shook his head. "I'm getting really worried. I mean really, really worried! He's not the kind to just up and disappear." Bendy nodded and smiled reassuringly. "We'll find him, I'm sure of it. I'm gonna look for him behind the house, okay?" Bendy said, pointing towards the gate that led to the back of the house. Cuphead nodded. After half an hour of more searching, Cuphead came to the conclusion Mugman wasn't at Bendy and Boris's house. Okay. I'd better tell Bendy to pack it up. We could try the other park. "Hey, Bends! How about we search the other park? The one you said was over this way? Bends?" Cuphead waited five minutes for an answer. Then, he made his way to the back yard. "Bendy, this isn't funny. Yeah, I called you Bendy. Bendy, seriously!" Then, Cuphead kicked something by accident. He looked down and say Bendy's glasses, one lens popped out and the other nearly shattered. Oh god, no! Desperately, Cuphead grabbed the glasses and ran out the gate. He turned and began running to the park that Felix and Oswald were searching. Frantically, he called Boris. "Hello." Came Boris's calm voice. "Boris, you and Mrs. Sheryl need to get to the park Felix and Oswald are at. Now!" Cuphead said through breaths. "Huh? Why? What's-" "It's Bendy." With that, Cuphead hung up. He sprinted to the park.
