Sometimes our feelings spill
Sometimes are all we have
There are days ahead, hours left to kill,
And memories to befriend
Some say that time is full proof
And surrounds us by and large
But I know where I'm headed,
And when to play my cards
I'll make you smile
I'll make you laugh
I'll make you love
I can make a promise last
And if these words don't come true
The stars will soon be spent
The sun and moon will bleed through
Their heavens, scarred by consequence
Sometimes wrong motives spill
Sometimes are all we have
There are days ahead, hours left to kill,
A guilty conscience in the end
Some say that death is full proof
And a somber part of life
But I know what you're thinking
And how to change your mind
(Chorus)
I'll make you live
I'll make you laugh
I'll make you love
I'll make it to your heart and back
And if my words don't touch you
My tears will all be spent
My dreams in life won't come true
And I'll be scarred by consequence
