Your fuel has reached its end
And your engine won't turn
You walk to the bend up ahead
While the sun starts to burn
Now you feel left for dead
With every reason to be grim
But when you'll back at homestead
You can breath again
There's a road we're on...
Where madness runs...
And everyday things stand in the way
But only the things we'll overcome
There's a sign closing in
It reads "the daylight is gone"
And you think of your kin
I bet they wonder what's wrong
You're in need of a friend
Those who would come at great cost
But when they come for you
You'll laugh at being lost
There's a road we're on...
Where heartache runs...
And everyday things stand in the way
But only the things we'll overcome
