A shadow doesn't mean a thing
Neither can the sunlight
Shining on our child's swing set
We can't bare this and haven't quite adjusted yet
To the sounds of silence so profound
Here I sit and wonder why the sky turns gray for thunder
Everything bleeds darker black and I'd give anything...
To bring you back please come back
And sit right here with me
Because I've lost track, I've lost track
Of this cold reality
She's always insecure, but squeezing out my fear
I don't sleep much, or eat much, my better half keeps my feet touching solid ground
I hear the sounds, but flowers weigh you down
Everything bleeds darker black and I'd give everything...
To bring you back please come back
And sit right here with me
Because I've lost track, I've lost track
Of this cold reality
Return to me...
Return to me...
Return to me...
